Im currently playing two characters now, one with Cassandra and the other with Josphine and I'm liking both, but to me the romances seem a bit shorter than the previous games and I wondered why they showed nudity for Cass but not for Josphine, not a big deal but I'm curious why?

 

I think it's because they tried to mix up the romances a bit.  As it is, Josephine is the only female involved in romances (including the female Inquisitor) who doesn't get topless.  I think they wanted the romances to feel a bit different from each other and, given that Josephine is the "Disney Princess of DA", a topless scene didn't really fit the vibe that they were going for with her.

 

They do the same thing with the guys, although it's reversed.  There's only one who does shows nudity (Dorian).  All of the others (including the male Inquisitor) either have no nudity at all or the Austin Powers style approach of blocking the good bits with conveniently placed objects.

I am also jealous of those who get to romance Cass. but I think that's a common shared sentiment amongst a lot of the women who swing that way here. I'll get around to doing it with a dude, I imagine, but cry. She's so perfect. We could have had it aaaaalllll.

Yeah, but we don't see anything.  It's a nice touch (and better than nothing), but they could have at least shown him from behind as he was running away.  Instead we get a split second shot of his hip as he scurries off camera.

You actually see female quizzy bewbs with at least two romances - IB and Blackwall. I'm not sure if you see them with Sera. With cullen there is no nudity at all for either. Unless I'm misunderstanding you!

Yeah, you might be misunderstanding me.  Maybe I could have been clearer.  Josephine is the only gal who doesn't get topless (including the female Inquisitor who does).  And Dorian is the only guy who does show nudity (including the male Inquisitor, who doesn't).  Male quizzie, Cullen, and Iron Bull have those silly "character in the foreground's knee is blocking the view" or "camera cuts just above the waist" shots.  So I don't consider that 'nudity' because you don't actually see anything.

Not for ESRB.  What you see from those guys would count as "partial nudity" at most.  What you see from the ladies and Dorian this time around counts as "nudity".  Different rating.

Re: nudity with Blackwall. it seemed only to be there to highlight her vulnerability. Which I guess it worked? And I'm not mad about it, but it makes me laugh when people say "well YOU got nudity"...trust me, seeing my character waking up alone naked wasn't titilating or anything.

There are plenty of attractive females in games and it's not any more difficult being straight now than it was before (wherever "before" was) - or at least I'm not having trouble still being attracted to dudes.

 

But please, lets not let actual facts get in the way of you complaining about not getting what you want.

Actually it's straight male gamers who have been complaining about number. Must be very hard for them to have play the game with only having as much options as lesbian and gay player when straight female Inquisitors have more.
