Are you serious? Have we played the same game? Have you ever talked to them? How the hell did you miss Alistair's abandonment issues and low self esteem? Or how the crows screwed Zevran up?
Straight male characters have had good and diverse romance options for years, guys. While all straight female have ever had was the stereotype pretty boys with emotional issue. So this one time, when straight male options are not as appealing (to some I guess, I found both Cass and Josie to be damn awesome and lovely) as female's, could we just take it without complaining? Let's ladies have the spot light for once, for the love of the Maker lol
How about having "good and diverse romance options" for both genders? Sounds like a solution for me.
About complaining: please let us give our feedback to the devs. See, you have done it, and now you are satisfied 
Not a fan of the approach they went with in regards romances in inquisition.
The overall impression was too little butter spread too thinly on toast feeling.
Don't agree with giving one groups double the potential options either.
But everyone gets at least as many options as they had in DA2.
Straight males had two options in DA2 (Merrill and Isabela)
They have two options in DAI (Cassandra and Josephine)
Heck they had two options in DAO (Leliana and Morrigan)
Nobody's getting fewer options, Though yes some are getting more (hey, s/s romances now have parity!). But straight elf and human females getting more doesn't mean you are getting less. It only means they get a little something extra. Why begrudge them that?
As far as I'm concerned, as long as I can have multiple options (2, 3, 4, or whatever) I'm happy. I get Cassandra or Josephine, that fulfills my requirement.

Also, it feels like Solas' romance is less of a romance and more like extra story content based on gender and race. There's zero sex, plus if you know the ending of the game... well...
Sera is the absolute most annoying and ugly character BioWare has ever produced that was bangable. I'm really not sure why so many males want her so badly.

True. But that's not what makes him extra content.
Solas and Cullen's romances were done during the extra year to make DAI. They were not originally romanceable. Thus they are extra content.
But everyone gets at least as many options as they had in DA2.

What I do understand is that she makes the faces of a howler monkey and the comments of a five-year-old. Which is fitting giving how she behaves during her personal quest. Insane would be putting it mildly. What I said is that I don't understand is the attraction felt by others, not that it didn't exist.
I guess what I'm saying is, when female got fewer interesting romance option, I don't see many complaining, or "feed back" thread. Now, when things are the other way around, threads like this spawn like mushrooms after the rain. This gotta be the 5th or 6th thread with the same topic that I've seen in the past 2 months or so. And I'm not even that active.
I guess I'm just not a complainer in the first place, or that I'm a sucker to women, but seriously, don't you think male gamers are becoming whiny, egoistic, and such in women's eyes by complaining about this over and over again?

Personally, I was quite satisfied with the Cassandra arc, and I'm looking forward to romancing Josephine with my qunquisitor.

Except it kind of is. If he was serious about doing what Grey Wardens should be doing (stopping the blight no matter the cost), then he would have accepted your decision to make Loghain a Warden. It doesn't matter what you think about the guy, the fact is that he's a brilliant strategist and commander. He's an asset. Instead Alistair focuses on the fact that Loghain robbed him of his substitute father figure.
