Your asking us to compare two completely different things.

Get what you want.
You feel like playing Pokemon or Persona Q rather than Dragon Age?
3DS
You feel like playing Dragon Age instead of those games?
Dragon Age.
All I can really say is that DAI good game, and like all good games, it'll have its flaws, but in general, it's very good.
Personally though?
Scrap all that and watch Legend of the Galactic Heroes

Jeez.

I'd rather get a llama.
I'd go with an Alpaca myself, they spit. Goodbye, door to door sales people ![]()

I have heard ... less than awesome things about DA:I

I'm not sure I understand the point of a poll choosing between a gaming system, and a game that isn't even for that system. ![]()

Eh.
I've heard crap talked about Origins too.
You'll hear crap talked about everything if you listen enough.
Even my beautiful Planescape: Torment's been talked badly about.
Those people, of course, are dead to me.

The OP is probably asking what they should spend their money on and narrowed it down to those two things. Or that's why I'd ask a question like this anyway.
Regardless, 3DS is a much better long term investment and I've also heard (and seen) some unflattering things about DA:I. With 3DS though you have your pick of the litter in terms of games, many of which are probably better than DA:I and will be cheaper as well.

Tbf, I'd only buy a 3DS for Smash and maybe Kid Icarus Uprising.
But my enthusiasm for DA ran out long ago. The first one was more than enough for me.
So my answer is, as always.
Flip a coin!

Thanks people who contributed! Was leaning more towards the 3DS even before. DAI will be 5 bucks eventually

Unfortunately, I have a 2DoorStop, more power to you if you can get the full thing. You can only play DAI so long, a 3DS will last a lot longer.

I'd say 3ds also, although it's an odd comparison because one's a lot more $$$ than the other IMO.
If you don't have a DS than definitely because there are a number of solid DS titles for that backward compatibility.

Well why don't you just make an account on the Nintendo forums anyway? Why not just post on both forums? Or post on Nintendo forums and see if you like that more and then leave here?
