I've been searching for the answer for almost a week now, but to no avail.  Are we able to romance different characters if we cut romantic ties with our current love interest?  I don't want my herald to end up foreveralone just because he's a finicky commitment-phobe...

Most love interests can be broken up with by telling them to end it. I don't know specifically which can and can't end.

Spoiler

You can't break up with Solas after he breaks up with you. [Ironically], perhaps because of future DLC. If you are talking about Solas, then reload the save when he breaks up with you and break up with him first.

Yes, you should be able to. So long as you aren't super near the end of the game.

Yeah, but its not possible after you commit to a relationship. I found that out a save to late. Now my first hero will never be able to romance Cassandra.
