Anyone else feel that the Inquisitor drinking from the well of sorrows is probably the best choice? I mean I know that Mythal can control you but I get the feeling she wouldn't use that often and even if she did you receive ancient elven knowledge. That's got to help, especially if you're a mage.
Well...(SPOILERS)

Can you let Solas drink it? Is it different when you're an elf? (I drank it as a human mage)

I think it affects Morrigan the same way it affects the Inquisitor and I doubt Solas would go near the well.

Pretty much.

Spoilers ahead, duh.
If you drink from the well, no insanity for you, but you're Mythal lackey. What it means exactly is not said, but there is a particular scene where this is demonstrated.
If Morrigan drinks for the well, it's going to make her really bitter after a certain encounter ^^
I don't know what happens if no one drinks. I don't know if it's even possible ? But Solas sure won't, it would be weird afterwards...

Consider the level of power you could attain with that knowledge, I wasn't about to trust Morrigan with it either.

Flemeth controlling Morrigan: Eh, ok a powerful mage who knows ancient magic could be useful.
Flemeth controlling Inquis: Controlling a man who is controlling the leading super power and can make impactful decisions.
This is assuming that Flemeth will take control of either of them.

And? If you want to be bound to a dead god forever just for a little extra juice, which you don't need with the Anchor, good luck.

Being bound to a dead god doesn't sound bad actually.

Except she never really dies, and you're probably just bound to another. It sounds awful. But then again, I don't think about being a slave for the rest of my life.

All that lost elven knowledge just seems worth it.

You can ask Solas, but he flatly refuses, and tells you not to ask him again. This is one choice where I don't know what the best result might be. Carefully made a save just before this choice, and now, having finished the game, I'm going to go back to it and see what happens if I choose the other way.

Solas probably doesn't need that knowledge or the disadvantage of being bound to a god. My inquisitor took all the advantages he could.

I trust Flemeth about as far as Schmooples II can throw her. I've no intention of being her puppet.
Besides, Morrigan turning into a dragon is awesome.

The thing is, if Solasis the one who took over Mythal in the post credit scene. Youre now bound to Solas/FenHarel.

We aren't sure who took over who actually. All we know is that Flemeth's essence went into Solas. We have no idea who ended up in control at the end.

This isn't the last game in the series. The Inquisitor won't have plot armor for future installments.
But I was actually surprised by how... not particularly sinister Morrigan being Flemeth's slave seemed. Like, I felt sorry for her. But not as sorry as I was expecting to.

He might be affected by it later, thats right. But I don't think they'll kill him off in a DLC or Expansion focusing on the Mythal/Flemeth/Solas story, thats what I was talking about.
Morrigan on the other hand is expendable by this point, if she drinks from it I can totally see her dying later on.
