I'm kind of stuck here. Very early in the game I had to move forward in the main storyline to gain a higher level in order to finish all side quests in the first region. I didn't like that, but at that moment I thought I could simply do whats necessary and then go back and do all the other quests that got dropped at me once I walked around in Val Royeau.

So I just finished the main stuff there and got back to my other quests....

 

Well...now that I have time to finally do all those other quests in Val Royeau (friends of red jenny and such) I can't go there anymore. But I want to do them and I heard its kind of important, storywise.

 

Is there a trick or do I have to delete the whole game with already 19 hours of playtime?!

I was having the same issue. I found that if I went to quest map, selected to view Val Royeaux (because that's all the war room map would let me do anyway) and clicked on the fast travel icon (the little sunburst looking thing) it actually gave the option to travel, finally. Hope this helped, I know I personally am thrilled to be able to finish Josie's personal quest.
