I got 140 hours played on PC.

Like I said in another thread just now, ZERO issues with bugs, ZERO issues with controls.

These are just plain lies and BS. And I'm getting tired of hearing it.

Seriously?  What would anyone stand to gain by lying about such a thing?

I've had very few problems myself, and quite enjoy the game.   But to say that other people are lying about experiencing problems with it is just silly.

Last night I caught Cassandra in an embarrassing moment and her reaction had me laughing out loud!

I love the characters in this game!   I find Sera the most interesting, she makes me laugh all the time.

Over 100 hours total between 2 different playthroughs and a fair bit of multiplayer as well.

One crash and 0 performance issues on Ultra.

I love the game too, my 280x devoured the graphics and asked for more, which I was more than happy to provide thanks to the awesome characters and cut scenes.  However, the gripes about combat keys are spot on with a warrior or rogue.  With a mage, I have no combat keys problem.

Completed the game on hard and controls are fine in my opinion. I only needed to remap pause to spacebar and that was it. Prior to launch I haven't played any PC games in like 2 years. So I wasn't accustomed to any type PC game controls settings. Maybe that has something to do with it, I don't know.

I'm getting that annoying cutscene crashes sometimes, but hell, I love this game anyway.

I haven't had any major problems that have stopped me playing. Love the game! patch would be nice to smooth things out but I'd rather just keep playing through. I actually find bugs/glitches pretty funny - apart from that notorious one that makes you do a certain boss fight again, that wasn't fun! - the rest though are great, NPCs with no heads, companions not being able to stand still during cutscenes, lay sisters super-speeding across Redcliffe, it's quite entertaining)

Marveling at how well optimized the game is, no stutters whatsoever no matter how much madness is going on in my boss fights. I do have a 780GTX card but sometimes poor game optimization makes that irrelevant.

Not to many issues.

Crashes I traced back to security software.
Quest bug or two.

Yes love the game on second play thru now.

I just finished the game last night (55 hours), my only real complaints with the game were the PC camera controls (really just the way the camera functions in general)  in Tactical mode, and that in the end game I was pretty much unkillable.  Otherwise I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to another play through at some point.

I can't say anything I haven't already said in other threads, but wanted to add my support to this thread.  I'm playing on PC, 42 hours in, and loving every minute of it!

I'm playing on PC with a controller, and I'm really enjoying it.
The only issues I've experienced are crashes - and I have experienced a lot of them. Places like the Western Aproach, Exalted Plains and the south-western part of the Hinterlands are off-limits, but most other places are fair game for exploration.

I enjoy playing on PC and I don't use tactical cam at all.  It's too complicated for me at the moment.  Took awhile to get use to not having autoattack and move to click but I think I'm getting use to it.  Right now I'm on my second playthrough  I'm trying out Hard difficulty after going Casual for my first one. :)

I have a dual core i5 with an amd 5450 so I'm surprised that it runs.  At the time of the Mage or Templar decision it had a bad command crash which I was able to continue with by changing to full screen in a window in options.  I also got the floating around instead of walking hand in the air thing which was I think against the envy demon.

Playing on hard without the tac cam? good luck with that :P

I'm enjoying the game a lot, despite hating the keyboard and mouse controls, the AI, the interface and the tac cam limitations.

I've got 110 hours on one single playthrough I haven't finished yet, cause I'm playing on hard with friendly fire on, and clearing out all the quests I can.

I've got a very good rig, playing on Ultra, and the only graphical problems I see are the cinematics, that everyone has hitching frame rate problems with, even if you remove the 30fps imposed cap, no matter the PC you have, and the devs have already aknowledged it.

People saying they haven't seen a single bug in 140 hours and that others are lying are just full of p00p. 140 hours and your characters never got stuck not entering the caves in Stormcoast? it happens to everyone, so maybe you didn't enter caves or places where your npcs get stuck, but I soubt it. Warriors get stuck in shield wall /parry mode, same as rogues. Your controlled character gets stcuk targeting a necromancer's spirit minion after the initial target dies. There are plenty of NPCs falling from the skies in several conversations etc etc etc

I'm surprised the game even run this well on my budget PC. I got used to the controls pretty quickly (don't try to play it like an RTS and u'll be fine). I'm level 9 S&S human warrior (boring, but thats how I start RPGs, with the simplest concept character) and the game is very very good. The main problem I encountered is that Catalyst 14.11.2 broke the game for me, had after 1.5 days revert to 14.7.

Playing on Hard 1st playthrough, pretty easy except for the pride demon at the beginning and the undead+demon fights at the swamp where there was one of the demos. Will play much more full playthrough on Nightmare after that.

As for the companions, I grew to like Viv and Sera in addition to Varric which I liked from DA2.

The main thing I'm afraid that the inevitable patch will make the game unplayable again for me while all others will play just fine...

I'm just about 50 hours in and have had no crashes at all and no bugs either (well my party banter seems fairly quiet but I'm not sure if it's as bad as other people's).

Playing with highest settings except MSAA turned off, I could have it on but I don't see the benefit of it and it plays a little smoother with it off. I do have a high end PC though so that would explain the great experience I'm having.. can't get enough of this game!

Pretty happy with the game, if I'm honest. Has its issues, many even, but I'm rather fond of it.

God forbid users have different experiences on a platform whose main talking point is hardware diversity.

I have sex every day, at least 3 times per day with different partners. I earn $120.000 per month and in my free time I work as astronaut. My life is great and I can't understand that other people have problems in their life. Everything is fine, I think they are just lying for no reason.

No real technical issues for me in the main game.
still poking around the world with the story.
quests on the table for when I quit crafting and exploring.
Really enjoyed the astarium puzzles I've found so far. Hoping to find some really tricky ones.
I'm even starting to get used to tac cam, but looking forward to improvements they can make needs to zoom out more.

There's a couple of design decisions they made which I think are bloody stupid, but working around those as best I can.
Games not perfect, but it's damn good.

55 hours in, loving every minute of it. Had two crashes in total, both some DirectX error. The only annoyance I have is that the game drops frames/lags/stutters from time to time, especially when I enter a new area and/or turn the camera rapidly. Glad it doesn't do this that often, but it's still a minor annoyance. During the lag the HDD clearly does some work, so perhaps it's loading something. Or there's not enough system memory. Dunno.

Anyway, this game is great, it's so delicious and vast. Lot to do, lots of ground to cover and so on. My personal GoTY of 2014.

Medium range video card, running everything on Medium, and the game is still gorgeous and runs well.  Only thing is sometimes when my character smiles and talks, his teeth go through his skin...it's very off-putting when he's flirting with Josephine.

I'm excited/anxious to finish the game now (but I'm OCD when it comes to finding everything, so that probably won't happen for a while)

Might I recommend - if you plan on playing the game multiple times - to leave some stuff for your second or third playthrough.  Typically I'm a *huge* completionist, but someone mentioned this in passing in another thread and it struck me as an awesome idea.  You can still hit all the material, and maker certain you clear the portion of the maps you want to clear (say you skip a couple maps because you've outleveled them; you decide only to collect shards with one character and only do the constelation puzzles with another; or only clear the top half of some maps and leave the bottom half for the next character.)  and leave the rest for the next playthrough.

Since I know for a fact that I'll be playing through this game more than once, saving some material for the next character means I will have new material to explore and new surprises waiting for me when I do.

Other than some fairly noticeable frame rate dips in heavily populated areas, my experience has actually been relatively smooth, all things considered. Guess I'm lucky.

I quite enjoy it, except when it crashes repeatedly. It's funny, I can go days just fine, then all of a sudden it crashes so many times at once it seems unplayable. Only possible pattern I've noticed-- don't save in the tavern.

I think my crashes are more related to my own hardware, though. They're BSOD, not CTD.

Zero crashes, no game breaking bugs, nothing.

Playing with a controller though but that's a luxury thing, not because it's supposedly better (which it isn't, every action is more difficult to perform with a controller. All of them, except basic motions), but because I'm playing the game on a big ass tv.

Love the game.
