Just wondering why everywhere looks different been to haven and now redcliff was expecting the same locations as origins but with nicer graphics and expanded areas to explore, after all places don't change that much in 10 years but I don't recognise either am I missing something?

I was running through Redcliffe and overheard one of the townies exclaim "...had to rebuild the whole place after the Darkspawn attack!" So perhaps the idea here is that much of that town was rebuilt. Also I believe in Origins we're told (I want to say the epilogue) that the Chantry basically takes over Haven driving some of the original community out so my impression is that Haven has also changed a great deal in the ten years since the events of Origins.
But it's far more likely that given a chance to do it the way they wanted BioWare decided to do just that!

There's rebuilding, and there's changing geography. The place is entirely different. O_o
