No doubt there is a ton of other topics out there on this issue.
The issue:
Buy Inquisition, install inquisition - wrong or no data from Origins and DA2 story line missing.
Apparently this is known and being worked on. Good.
What I was wondering is, is there a possible eta on a fix for this? Just so I know when I can play this game.

This bug isn't affecting everyone and most people usually 'fix' this by restarting the game and usually the second time. There isn't any known date when it will be fixed and you shouldn't let that stop you from buying it.
You can check as soon as you get control of your character. Save the game. Head to the keep and check the playthrough ws and the DA:O and DA2 details
before i exported my save (3 save for each of my hero) i double check everything before doing it and when i decide to check it several days later it din't pick any of my warden nor my hawke too it took default character and before you ask yes i check like i say i double check before making playthrought,did a new game and it still the same it pick a default character and none of my character
I have contacted EA twice and they say its a bug that lots of people are experiencing. In typical EA fashion I was told that because the game is still being launched bug fixes are currently not important but will be fixed 'at some point'. I found out 10 hours in that I had the default warden and I have not played since. Right now it feels like a total waste.
Edit: I have also now got five characters, the keep all says they have my choices uploaded, and the upload times match from the keep to the game. It would have been helpful if after you upload it there is a brief list of at least some of the choices to save me having to get to the temple of ashes only to find out the data is wrong again.
