The Orlesians seem to have a more, shall we say, liberal view of the matter if Viv is any indication. That said Leliana seems to be pretty possessive, almost Liara-tier obsessed. I was worried that shrine she keeps in her tower held a piece of my Warden's armor or something...

Least she's not mad about sharing. Neither is Anora if the codex is any indication.

My Cousland Slept with Iona, slept with Morrigan, slept with Lelianna, took Zevran as his lover, married Anora and ended the game with Lelianna still holding no hard feelings, plus Awakening with Anora actually pleased to see him return to the capital.   The only one who was really sore with him was Morrigan but that was only because he and Loghain agreed not to give her the god baby she wanted.    Loghain happily sacrificed himself for my sake.     Alistair ended up drunk in Kirkwall.

 

I must try and use this world state on my next run as it will be interesting to see how it pans out.

Mine was almost the same, though he never hooked up with Zevran and stayed with Leliana. Did have the threesome with Leliana and Isabela, which actually happened well before Leliana invited him into her tent for the first time, so that was kind of odd.

And said she would soon be reunited with him once this business with the Inquisition (and his own mission) was done.  Morrigan spoke fondly of him as well, basically grateful for him for giving her Kieran.  And Leliana was introduced as "the Mistress to the King of Ferelden" at the ball.  Go stick that in your sock drawer, Anora!   Though it surprised me since my head canon was they were discreet, I also imagined (because of lines in Awakening) that he and Anora, while not in love, definitely were amicable.  The only one who didn't remember him with fondness seemed to be Alistair, and spoke like they'd had a falling out.  Understandable I guess considering it's been a decade and Alistair has had a lot of time to think about what happened, but it still kind of saddened me since I played them 'brothers in arms'.  Ah well, 2 out of 3 ain't so bad.

The thing some of you have missed is Orlais is very "French" and in the French Royal court the mistress was an official position. Real life example http://en.wikipedia....me_de_Pompadour

 

So it's totally not weird for Leilanna to be introduced like that at court. It's also not weird for Anora to not care about it. Also, Vivianne will talk about being Basitian's mistress and her good friendship with his wife. For the nobility marriage has little to nothing to do with love. It's a matter of house alliances and power struggles.
