I'm glad we got dwarves back as a playable race, and I'm glad we got a few dwarf members of the Inquisition (Varric, Harding, and Dagna).
But a lot was still missing. Maybe I was spoiled by Origins, but I want to see Orzammar again. Or Kal Shirok. Or just more immersion in "traditional" dwarf culture.
The only dwarf companion we've had over the last two games has been a beardless Andrastian. No traditional dwarves, no female dwarves, no dwarf romance, nothing.
So, here's my wishlist (in no particular order). Some of it is easy DLC stuff, some of it is more involved:
1.) A REAL dwarf companion. Male or female, doesn't matter to me. Someone who was heavily involved in true underground dwarven culture, but now lives on the surface (such as Oghren and Sigrun). Someone worships the Stone or venerates the Paragons, and upholds traditional dwarven attitude and virtues.
2.) Romance options for dwarves. These don't have to be full companions. Finishing Scout Harding's romance, for example, would be great. (Why does that end suddenly? Did someone drop the ball? Is it a bug?)
3.) Dwarven armor. DAO showed us a few interesting designs for armor from the dwarves (such as the standard dwarven plate and the more jagged Legion of the Dead armor). Let me craft (or find or buy) armor like that again.
4.) Skyhold Customization: Dwarven throne and decor. This is minor, but would be nice. I can have dwarven banners and a bed, but not statues or a throne.
5.) A living dwarf-focused location. The dwarven ruins scattered about are cool, but I want to visit and interact with a living dwarven community again (like Orzammar).
That's it for now. If you've got any suggestions for dwarven DLC in Inquisition, or just want to express your support, let me know! Thanks for reading.
