I do mind collecting materials - and its not because I'm lazy. Collecting materials requires no skill and is not something it is possible to fail at. Since I derive no pleasure from it, it is pointless work. I have a job, a family and a life and I don't play games to do work, I play games to have fun. Those of you who are accusing people of being lazy because they don't want to do boring repetitive tasks in a game have a very odd idea of what a game should be like.

P.S. Since I want to make my potions better and craft armour and weapons I am driven to the tedious job of collecting materials, otherwise I wouldn't bother.

Well most game design decitions in this game is done by a drunk monkey and so is the V thing.

Its horrible.

The looting where  cant click on a bag to move to it? whats up with that Bio?

How about you make a game that is playable on PC?

Did you even try the pc UI?

Well you failed now go back and replay origins and learn from your past.

If we cant click move atleast give us arealoot.

Given that we have a limited amount of things we can carry, an auto-loot feature would be annoying in the long run. Plus we would also have to constantly check what it was that got picked up.

I actually saw an interesting version of autoloot recently.  Any time you kill something the loot goes into a sort of holding area.  Not your actual inventory mind you.  Then within a certain amount of time (an hour I believe it was), you can choose to accept it into your inventory proper, toss it or simply let the timer expire.  It doesn't sound particulary revolutionary on paper but I found it to be very effective and easy to use in practice.

Yeah, I would like this. I used an auto-loot mod for Origins. I don't understand the point of wasting time picking up every single piece of loot when it doesn't need to be that way.

I couldn't agree more. Ironnicaly, that's one of the few things DA2 did well. Finding colectible resource spot for your organisation to harvest would have made a lot of sense in DAI.

I'd have like to have seen automated resource collection tied to the camps - each camp you set in an area would periodically give you nearby resources. It would be more useful than the unnecessary power and would make sense in-game as it would be a (menial) job some of the inquisition squaddies could be doing.

Nice idea, it would also give the illusion of creating a logistical supply chain. Just like we would have to do if we were actually running the Inquisition, except it would be tied in to loading points and supply nodes.
