With the same style as the Warden Commander, Cailen's armor or Wades Dragonbone Plate?

Nope, nothing like that, this game only has three variations of the same armor you get at the beginning.

You can make armor seem massive with the appropriate arms and legs.

Not true at all. In fact with heavy armor there are even race-specific armors such as Legion of the Dead and Dalish armors.

I think in terms of armour that can be used by the majority of races your looking at the warden warrior or the templar commander armour I have both equipped to Cassandra and blackwall... Not gonna lie when you put blackwall in templar armour witha warden helmet and a greatsword he looks like a right tank

Well, yeah, I'm exagerrating a little, but it's still lacking in armor department severely, and qunari got the shaft even more with race-specific armors this time.

If you're a Dwarven warrior, you can get Legion of the Dead armour schematics in Fairel's Tomb in the Hissing Wastes. (Anyone can find the schematics, but the armour is for Dwarven warriors only). The armour looks exactly the same as it looked in Origins.

There's also Chevalier armour available to Human warriors. I think the schematic is called "Orlesian Army ______". It can be found in the shop at the southeast end of the Val Royeaux market.

Heavy Grey Warden armour schematics can be bought from the Dalish merchant in the Exalted Plains. The armour looks almost exactly the same as it did in DA2, and cannot be used by Qunari.

Other then that, I haven't seen any armour/schematics that look like the Massive Armour sets of Origins.

I fact, i think they just gave the Inquisitor the same treatment as the companions or Shepard in ME2/3 : A unique look who slightly evolve through armor parts with the possibility to wear some "specialized" distinct armors (Dalish,Orlesian, Warden, etc).

It's not really a bad thing, they just should have told us so.

At least, that would give a easy way to recognise the inquisitor in future games like Hawke who kept her signature armor.

Each character has his own look. Some armors look like DA:O massive armors on Blackwall. But only on him and have an different look at Inquisitor, Cassandra or Bull. But I like the new armor look too.

Ugh, what I was suspecting. The armor options are rather limiting. This Sturdy Vanguard Armor is still my favorite looking, but what, we get like 4 choices? Come on man.

Armor was not that diverse in the other games either.
