Has anyone reliably found a way to get the life leech portion of Rampage working after it has stopped?
Happened to me 3 times yesterday mid-match. Things were cruising along nicely, then the life leech stopped .. which, short of another player to spam barrier on you, is a death sentence.
Hmm .. so I guess no one knows what causes this or how to correct it in match huh?
I've seen it happen, and it's happened to my friend who plays Reaver regularly. Neither of us know how to resolve it though.
My thoughts.. At first I thought you could only get the Rampage bug if you were killed while Rampage was active. I only experienced it 3 times during my first week of play so it wasn't that big of a deal... at first. When it happened to me 4 games in 6 on Sunday morning, well that is unacceptable. I now believe that you can get the Rampage bug when you are taking damage simultaneously as you are healing yourself with Rampage. I only get the rampage bug when there is serious action happening, aka exactly when you need rampage to work. Zone 5 threatening and perilous is where it happens to me the most.
If playing with my friends, I will tell them I'm glitched and leave the game so I can get my gold and forfeit my xp and then have my friends invite me to rejoin the game.
No one knew in the time you gave them a chance to respond in... Not a big surprise there.
It seems to occur when you go down while it is active and the only way you can fix it is to quit the session, from my experiences.
While this is definitely one of the triggers, it's happened to me and others without that as well. I've also been revived before and, to my pleasant surprise, had Rampage working fine. So it seems...inconsistent.
This has happened to me two times already. Each time during the final stage. Fighting the demon boss without the self heal? Not pretty. This needs to be addressed quickly. On the other hand there are a lot of other skills which seem to be bugged as well (was there no testing involved when they created the multiplayer?). I only started playing a few days ago and I already encountered so many issues and realized how unbalanced some classes are. I hope they keep working on that.
Rampage on the demon commander is 100% guaranteed not to work.
It's been tried and tested a number of times with me and a couple friends each all having the exact result each and every time, even recorded video proof.
regardless of what attack you use on the demon commander, you will not gain any life while attacking it under the effects of rampage.
If your fighting the demon commander, just completely ignore the demon commander, and go after the regular enemies.
