It depends on your elf gender too. Male elves suffer from broken and glued arms. Please, visit these threads in the presented order. There are pages filled with these bugs. It occurs on all platforms, every time. Something with models is horribly wrong. Some people, including Mister Allan Schumacher said that it may happen to female elves too, although it affects them minimally. Broken arms occur with certain armours(great many of them). Glued arms occur all the time during cutscenes.

Wow! That sucks. Luckily I'm playing a Female Elf and have yet to encounter this.

Whole of male elf is unbearable. I don't think this is what BioWare meant when they were saying before the release that elves will look good. For some atrocious reason, they did not even do quality check. Now we do not even get official answer on this matter. I've bought this game to play male elf Inquisitor and further discover elven lore. Broken-Glued arms for about 100h of gameplay are unacceptable. All they need to do is to fix it and puff, happy people everywhere.

I prefer kb/m because with the controller you can't zoom out. That is a fatal flaw, more fatal than anything on kb/m.

Hmmm... Yes you can? I zoom in, and out, and in, and out. And in. And out. And in. And out. And in. And out.... Wait wait wait.... And in. And out.

It covered backwards flying dragons, so I guess it's gonna be something similar here. Don't disappoint me BioWer.

Lol no idea what character should I even do when I get the game then XD I was battling between male elf and male qunari but if elves look messed up and I can't do my qunari cause beards are horrendous on PS3.. sigh what kinda of character should I even play. I guess I will do female dwarf and toss all my plans out of window.

No you don't. Controller setup has two modes: 3rd person action and tactical cam. You can't zoom out the 3rd person action cam like you can with mouse and keyboard.

If they don't fix the qunari archer animation bug in the first patch I am going to blow a gasket.

Could they please fix the text for the old generation consoles? I can't read anything without squinting.

not that clever considering I'm not buying bioware again...

Didn't you say that after Mass Effect 3 as well?

Fix the dialogue bugs please. Nothing takes you out of the game more than waiting twenty minutes for Loghain, Hawke, or Cassandra to say a line of dialogue. And banter too. Because It seems like outside of combat I'm always doing a solo run.

Mybe wait with the purchase until they fix it or if they won't, wait for some super sale and get it for a 'change'. Just keep in mind that BioWare said that elven models are going to be good in DA:I. Definately they are an excellent learning tool for orthopedists. 'Every doctor must be inquisitive, play it: diagnose your elf'.

Yes, it does not work the same with your regular attack.

If you cast a melee skill or ability, the AI will try to move your character into range, usually quite poorly. The fancy gap closers in Witcher 2's action combat, or even DRagon Age 2 are absent from DA:I. Which is really sad.

So you need to constantly fight with WASD, and still find your powers, and your attacks. This is all a LOT easier with a controller than the keyboard. The only way to get this back to where KB+M players are comfortable is :

1) Click to Move

2) Basic Attack moves to target and auto-attacks.

3) Gap closing animations for melee classes that gets around the poor path finding.

1, 2, and 3 should all be a part the same functionality.  That's how it was in previous games.  It worked perfectly.  You didn't have to struggle to make it work.

That's what they need to do here.

This is the song the NFL Network commercial parodies.  I was at a party and nobody could guess what the tune was from but me.  I had just watched this movie recently, so it was in my head anyway.

I am sick of that **** commercial....

I haven't seen the commercial. Sad that no one else knew the song, Gene Wilder is glorious and everyone should see this movie. No one else should ever be allowed to play Willy Wonka again. It should be a law.

There's a reason why Sony doesn't offer, or at least didn't for PS3, integrated M/KB support for CoD and other popular FPShooters.

Because M/KB players murderize controller players. I'm not even good at FPShooters but thanks to my 3rd party M/KB control unit I used to roflstomp the hell out of CoD. Saying a thumb is as accurate as an entire hand is assanine. Not to mention the fact control users simply can't spit out the CPM that a M/KB user can. I mean, maybe there's a handful of people in the ENTIRE WORLD who might be able to but those are the exceptions, not the rule.

And if consoles started offering that functionality now, so that people could use m&kb with the latest console games....  you'd have even worse control schemes than you see in DAI.
