Hmmm... Yes you can? I zoom in, and out, and in, and out. And in. And out. And in. And out. And in. And out.... Wait wait wait.... And in. And out.

Then you must be the only player who can? There is NO zoom function in the game with keyboards OR controllers. If you're referring to tactical mode, that is not a zoom function. In fact, it barely raises above your character's heads.

Since you haven't fully explained, I can only guess.

But... I am curious since you typed "in and out" a dozen times. LOL!

This is the new normal for AAA releases now. They cut corners on QA, put the game out on the date they planned whether it is ready or not, and then patch the biggest consumer complaints and ignore the rest. Having your customer do your beta testing for you (and paying you for the privilege) is clever business.

Pretty much the norm in software development.

Consider that they have released male elves with broken arms: http://forum.bioware...-its-problems/ I'm willing to agree that quality check has not been applied to Dragon Age: Inquisition's models

Please release the first patch in the next few days! For me the game crashes all the time and I have now also been hit by the voice change bug. In addition to that, the PC controls and tactical view are still horrible. I really want to like DAI but you are making this very hard.

Is there any information on what the patches will fix? Or an estimated deadline? I have a feeling they won't be touching on relatively minor but completely immersion-ruining bugs like the voice switch bug until later...

That really is not something they can fix. The game is far too cpu intensive for a dual core, your pc simply can't handle it. That's just the way the game is. The requirements are actually surprisingly low for a game so big and detailed.

I have limited zoom in an out with my mouse. Interestingly, I can sometimes scroll out farther than tac cam allows. I think it's a bug though.

Lol so awesome. I almost took a picture of my mouse and posted it as a separate thread to ask Bioware Devs if they had ever seen the side buttons on a mouse.

I'm guessing I'm going to hate the scroll out to Tac Cam feature, aren't i?

I just pray that they fix the stuttering framerate issues in cutscenes on the PC. It is my biggest technical problem with the game so far.

Xbox 360 has 3 cores...which i guess is why Inqusition works for ten minutes and then crashes on it  :)

Go ask a refund they said themselves that they don't support dual core.

I don't get this.  I really don't.  I hardly even noticed the lack of banter among my party members.  How did people even THINK That was a bug to begin with?  My party banters PLENTY!!  MEANWHILE, MY QUNARI ARCHER HAS A BROKEN RIGHT ARM EVERY TIME HE USES HIS BOW.  THAT IS AN ACTUAL BUG.   I am sitting here, staring at my TV screen because I can't even play the save I want until they patch my Qunari character!!!

A year.  That is how long I waited to play this game.  For months I sat in my bed room with my overpriced iPad, watching that Redcliff demo over and over and over.  For that entire year I was looking forward to rolling one thing and one thing only.  A male Qunari archer.  But lo and behold, I end up dropping 70 bucks for a class I can't even use because of this ridiculous bug that shouldn't have gotten past the first day of QA.  Urgh, you people and your priorities!

Spoiler

....Okay, I'm done.  *grabs inhaler*

Could we please stop with this "My bug is worse than yours" business? I personally wouldn't care very much if my character's arms were broken if I had perfect banter. It's a matter of preference. Bugs are bugs, all of them awful, and hopefully to be addressed soon. Pimping your bug out as the one devs have to prioritize while calling other people's problems insignificant is incredibly immature of you.

Hopefully the damn party banter/silence bug is one of the first bugs to be patched. Half the content cut out because of one bug. How the hell does something like that even get through?

Bugs are getting way too common in this industry.  <_<

That was a design choice. You guys are screwed.

I just hope their fixes don't cause my game to lag more. I just got it to a decent playable state as it is. If they like...remove the 30fps cap, I hope they tell us how to apply it back, because when I removed the cap, my game would barely move an inch because of massive lag.

If you would actually look at the gathered evidence, no it is not a design choice. The rigging is in fact bugged and snapping to the chest, causing the male elf arm to become bent in a very unnatural way, specially in cutscenes, and glued to the body.

It is not a design choice. It is a botched model work; broken and glued arms are a no-no if you plan on spending about 100 hours with your character. It is RPG game, you are eager-you should be eager to experience new cutscenes, observe how Inquisitor reacts. With this bug you can't stand your character. This bug ruins one of the most important aspects of this game. Male elf players can't play their game.

Soon? It has been 2 weeks. I have not even started my playthrough because of the broken-glued male elf arms. RPG-Immersion shattered 100% of guaranteed disgust and discomfort.

Let's be perfectly honest, nothing to be glad about. They should have never-ever released a game in this state in the first place.

I agree but better fixes than no fixes a lot of games get released too early nowadays like Assassins Creed that had loads of problems.

you also have to consider you cant really fully know what issues people will have till its released as it get more eyes on the problem you can only test so far there's no such thing as a bug free game.
