With all these threads complaining about the romances, why not a thread discussing the romances we DO like and love and why. In all the DAs and in ME I've always had a favorite romance option. For origins it was Alistair and my female warden becoming his queen. DA2 Anders (friendship romance) I've only completely romanced Iron Bull and Cullen and just started one with Blackwall. I can't rightfully choose a favorite for Inquisition cuz i haven't done all of em yet but so far Cullen's my fav, it was the hugging scenes oh those were so heartwarming

Only seen Cassandra's so far, and I haven't even finished it yet but so far, I am really enjoying it. I think my next play-through will be with either Sera or Josephine. Probably Josie, because I absolutely adore her.

This.  Regardless of what happens, it's the most beautiful I've experienced and I expect it'll be the ONLY romance I'll be able to do for the forseeable future...I fell head over heels in love with that character.  Step aside Alistair, I'm afraid your crown is lost.

Funny on my first playthrough I was going to romance Sera but her views on almost everything put me off, so I decided to romance Cullen. But I don't think I completed his romance. I am on my second playthrough and decided to romance Blackwall instead. Hopefully that turns out good. So far it is just kissing in the barn lol.

For as few romance scenes we actually got for him, his content is definitely quality > quantity. 

 

I've heard good things about Cullen and Dorian's romances too though, so I'm going to try those next.

Also Josephine is super adorbs so I romance her eventually as well.

Solas's. It pretty much rivals Garrus' romance as my favorite Bioware romance, which I never thought would happen lol

Cullen's is adorable though! Loving it so far for my human mage.

I've done Cullen and Solas so far currently working through Blackwall.

They are each good in their own way. I'd say it's a close tie between Solas and Cullen they were both really well done. I like that Cullen's romance felt long and there were lots of cut scenes of the romance throughout the game. I believe Cullen has the most romantic cut scenes? Also, I remember trying to seduce him DA:O and couldn't so many years later I finally can have him! Cullen's romance was pretty much drama free which is good I want a happy ending damn it!!!

 

Solas is just damn sexy his voice makes me feel like I am melting. I like how his romance plays into the larger story at hand and once you know more about him and listen to his various conversation throughout the game it adds a lot to the replay value. He is just so articulate, mysterious and intriguing. His facial expressions in the cut scenes are so well done. He has the best facial animations I think it conveys a lot of emotion. I can't wait to see where his story goes next.

 

Blackwall is alright so far certainly not my fav. I do like the tarot card you get for romancing him though it's sweet

My Human Mage is romancing Cassandra. However, I intend to create a Human Female and have my Lady Trevelyan duel for Josephine's honor!

No one will ever replace the way Alistair made (me and) my Warden feel, hands down the best romance of any video game I've ever played.

 

I romanced Cullen in my first play through, was really sweet and I really enjoyed it. Buts its going to take some serious work to out due Alistair.

 

Solas will be my next target!

Cullen's romance was excellent. Was sad when I saw the bedroom scene because I knew there wasn't going to be much else to see.

To be fair- he's the only romance I've seen so far.

Favorite romance of all time I think was rival-mancing Fenris as a sarcastic Hawke. Something about his tortured life seemed to make the rival-mance that much better.

Then Cullen, then Alistair as king and queen.

I don't really understand everyone's obsession with Solas. I suppose I will have to play it to find out. Heard the ending might be sad though I might have to look up the spoilers in more detail before I decide if I actually want to play it or not. I can't cope with sad. (Yes I know it's just a video game lol).

I've done Solas and Iron Bull so far. Bull had me laughing the whole time, but I was genuinely heartbroken over SOlas.... LOVE them both

Blackwall - there's no one else for me after him in DA:I.

 

I almost died after finding out the truth, but I had already suspected something was up with him before that. At any rate, I seem to naturally gravitate towards the more complex and difficult romances - so boom, I somehow managed it on the first try this time, too. On the bright side, at least he's...ah...available, unlike Solas, and you can have ultimately have a happy ending.

The reason people are so obssessed with Solas and his romance is that it's packed with depth and emotion, in case anyone was wondering.  I guess it may not be that way for everyone, but for myself and many others it was very much worth it.

Josephine's romance was perfect for my sarcastic/funny human male Inquisitor so for now that is my favorite.

I've only done Dorian's but I loved it.  He was snarky and witty and a little snippy, but totally believable and it ended up in a great place.  He's my favorite DA romance out of all three games. 

 

I'm about to #ridethebull.  I'll let you know how that turns out how he compares.
