Note: Please do not misconstrue this post as "I do not like the game". In fact, I love it and it's one of Bioware's best. Still, it's not perfect, and as long as that's so, feedback to make things better is useful.

There are a few suboptimal things in the game. Some of them I get used to so that they don't matter any more after some time spent with the game, others actually get more annoying as time goes on, even others stay the same. I think those that stay the same or get more annoying are in most need to be patched, if possible.

Things I get used to:

*The hair. The selection of styles still sucks, but I usually find a hairstyle and color I can use.

*PC controls. Still not optimal, especially in the menus, but *shrug*. I don't spend all that much time there.

*No "move and interact" command. Still annoying here and there, but no big thing. Using a key instead of the mouse helps.

*No storage chest. Still annoying here and there, but no big thing.

Things I don't get used to:

*The tactical camera. I find myself unable to use the tactical mode because of the limited zoom, and that's annoying because I want to move up in difficulty eventually.

*No second weapons set switchable in combat. Important for mages since I don't know which kind of immunities the demons from the next rift will have.

Things that get more annoying with time:

*The Inquisitor's "civilian" outfit. Being so underdressed at Skyhold is immensely immersion-breaking.

What are others' "I can/can't get used to it" suboptimal features?

Since I play on the ps3, the hair looks bad, but I'm used to it.

What I'm not use to is when pinging for materials, I end up looking every where for whatever and still don't find it. Some of the items are hard to see even with the help of the pinger

I'm still not used to the small text on the screen. I play with subtitles on and have to get closer to the screen to read what's being said. I didn't have that problem with the first 2 games

Agreed on all accounts.

I've been pretty vocal about the civilian outfit and I will continue being vocal about it. Its an atrocity and it needs to be changed up.

Can't say much considering I have abandoned my playthrough after meeting with an evil forces of broken and glued arms: http://forum.bioware...d-its-problems/

This is the thing I won't get used to.

terrain... having to spam jump to get over some objects, and if that fails then my character slides down it like the object was a hill and not an object set at 90 degrees

AI pathing... always run around hills after watching me either walk up one or jump up one, get stuck at times and all warp to my point a little later

tab targeting... completely useless, doesn't smartly select the closest target, seems random

Not true. I love this game. Doesn't mean it hasn't got its bad sides though.

PC Controls.  I play a ranged rogue and that's hard enough, I don't even want to try anything involving keeping yourself in melee range.

The terrain being a mini-game.  Yes, Bioware, it's very pretty.  Not all terrain in the world is the Himalayas.  Please, just once, try some plains.

the sound when you are on the mount, it sounds like a stream over a bad connection full of quiet clinking that sounds digital not "horse hoofes on the pebbles" clinking.

When I'm looking for something that I know should be in the area, but my pings keep getting stuck on doors and ladders and lanterns.

Getting lost because I'm allowed to climb mountains, but then the wall kicks in and I slip all the way back down. Or drowning because I can wade in some areas but not others.

Everything else I can get used to.
