OK so there are some things that really annoy people, and some that infuriate, or even break the game entirely, but this thread is for those little things that happen in the game that are more amusing than aggravating, and don't really take much out of the game, but might make you scratch your head a little.

 

So I'm perusing Val Royeux's bazaar, and there's a man and woman who are talking about Haven's destruction and helping the Inquisition, and I couldn't help but notice that as the man's voice is playing, the man's lips aren't moving, and when the woman speaks, it's him. I'm like, wut. What a weird thing to happen, or is it a joke, or maybe it's the intense red lyrium that my Inquisitor collected. Did anyone else notice this? I thought it was kind of amusing.

Another is when the requisitions officer in the camp is buried chest deep into the ground.

Inquisitor: What is it?

Req officer: See for yourself, sir.

I find the Jump-then-interact to float bug amusing.

 

It makes me think of Arthur Dent 'throwing himself at the ground and missing'.  Also, of the Mordin-Jesus glitch.

Every time I end a conversation with Solas at Skyhold, he warps around the room for a few seconds as if his pathing is rapidly moving along it's set track trying to catch up to where he'd be before my Quizzie interrupted him.

Random people running at warp speed anyways makes me laugh was just talking to Leliana in Haven and some random NPC zooms past like it was lagging behind where it should be stood during the conversation. Varric and his little problem makes me laugh more than it should it seems like he really badly needs the bathroom or something whenever you talk to him. Also had a Ram flying through the air once for no particular reason.

I had a bug where I started to jump and then tried to initiate a conversation with someone at the same time, and my Inquisitor just sort of hung there for the duration of the conversation.

I've also had a dragon casually flap his wings and catapult Cassandra high into the air. She was alright.

And, not really a bug, but I find it amusing when I stop to speak with someone and my companions start dashing about like crazy around me.

Oh, and the random warp-speed some characters seem to move at. I even had a dragon leap towards me, land on the ground, then instantly warp-speed right into my face.

I love the one where I was using Dorian to light a valerian torch, switched back to my character who was on a bridge and she fell through the world. Over and over again until I switched to someone else...

I've had a sort of similar event, but between the giant versus dragon fight at the storm coast with the dragon kicking the giant accross the map... never saw the poor giant again

talking to Cullen in Haven, depending on where I was standing when initiating the conversation, and the camera angle the person sparring behind me was headless.

 

Had the dragon launch into air and Solas learned to fly.

The 'Hi, I'm just here to drop in' companions when going to a new area.

 

And during a Dragon fight, I was controlling Solas from a distance, watching my Companions fighting, and then all of a sudden, my Quizzy, Blackwall and IB rush past Soals (from behind him) toward the Dragon they were already fighting. I was wondering what spell I cast to make Dopplegangers.

 

Companions who somehow get past you INTO a locked room/don't follow at all (I find HOLD doesn't work worth beans)

This guy made himself cozy doing squats between my Inqisitor and the champion trainer *for the entirety of this conversation*. To make things even more awkward every few seconds his face would spontaneously cave in like in this picture.

One time my Inquisitor was talking to Cullen in his Skyhold room and a random female NPC kept strolling through the room and out through the other door (walking right between Cullen and the Inq - I mean how rude). She did it about 4 or 5 times in a row, so it totally looked like she kept running around the corner and coming back in, thinking "Cullen will notice my assets this time, I'm sure of it!"

Also, if you romance Blackwall you can grab a quick kiss at the side of the barn/stable. The past few times I've done it, Dennet just pops up in the middle of the screen and stands uncomfortably close to my Inquisitor for a few seconds. I know it's a barn, but jeez, give them some privacy, Dennet.

During Iron Bull's personal quest, Blackwall just randomly fell down in the middle of the conversation. I have no idea why this happened.

During that first Romance scene with Cullen, I had this random NPC pop out right next to my Inquisitor and just stand there, staring awkwardly over the battlements. Then when...things happened and it cuts back to the Inquisitor, she's just looking at the ground like 'Maker save me' while this guy is well within any sort of reasonable personal space bubble. That is literally my luck with these games. Adorable romance scene? Nope. I can hardly see it because I'm laughing too much at the fact that all of Cullen's people are huge trolls. What was that guy doing? Whispering suggestions? Taking an opportunity to cozy up to the Inquisitor hoping she'd be too embarrassed to notice and Cullen too distracted? So awkward.

 

I wish that they had more face models for the Inquisition Agent/NPC guys...because I really like that one guy who has the worst luck about timing and job rotations (but then I slowly realised it's probably not the same guy every time and he just has a lot of doppelgangers because I had a scene once where there were four of them standing around Cullen and they all had that face. So...maybe he has a lot of brothers or cousins and it's just a run of bad luck on that family? Poor guy.

 

Cole is often absent from his perch in the tavern. So I run around the room three times to 'summon' him. And it almost always works. That, or I run up the stairs and out the door and back in real quick and cackle because he 'poofs' into view as I dart back into the tavern. "Tricked you, Cole! Take that, Mr. Stealthy No-Pants." It's the little things that get me. xD

 

I changed Cassandra's armour right before sealing the Breach and in all those cutscenes, she had no torso. The chestplate was there, and the armour on the arms was there...but it was empty. Oo; Cole has also had invisible pants. Because he needed help being more awkward and creepy? (I was sort of terrified on my elf. He suddenly looks huge and in her face. But I did just play a Qunari, so everyone looks huge now.)
