Bears .... a constant assault from the bear army. 

I didn't run out of bear leather for quite awhile, I can tell you that.

I have always found endless re-spawns to be immersion breaking. Like the quest where you seal off darkspawn access from the deep roads and yet they came back anyways, etc.

 

Obviously animals have to come back because of crafting, but it is ridiculous in some spots, Any cave with spiders will repop once you take a step out the cave,

 

A toggle for re-spawning under options would be nice.

I think this is something we are pretty close to being able to deliver as a Mod. I have successfully been able to modify creature data and have that work in game, so next step would be to look for respawn markers, or scripts, or however it may be done.

I actually don't mind - although it got a little frantic fighting 3 great bears and a normal brown one all at the same time - my problem is the respawn rate after you've cleared and claimed an area; I've ended up leaving the Hinterlands without finding the Fereldan locks I need for the Requisition Officer simply because no one was spawning for long periods of time, and when they did - they weren't carrying them. T_T
