Here's what Bioware is gonna do if they see this thread:
"Hmm....ok looks like fans want less roleplay and more action. Let's prioritize on making Dragon Age 4 more of an action title."

It's me the same vibe I got from Kasumi's loyalty quest in ME2.
I'm only halfway through the quest, but am enjoying it immensely.
Also I want to comment that I'm on my 2nd playthrough and I CAN'T WAIT to get to the Orlesian ball. It's a great mission and I hope you continue doing these types of missions in the future.
If there was a skip mod for all the boring ass parts I'd be all over it. It reminds me of the fade and how tedious it all is. I don't want to run around looking for odd objects. Like really no one notices that I'm ****** scaling a wall, REALLY?! Yet they notice when I leave the party for all of a minute even though there is literally thousands of guests?! Yeah no. Seriously, they should have made it a fun event and I wouldn't mind repeating it, but as it stands now? I'd rather have none of it then do it again. I dread it for my third run....>.<
It is nothing like Kasumi's loyalty quest. That **** was more fun and less tedious. It was done in less than 40 minutes. I feel like that ball drags on...I need to be drunk to even complete it.

lol or they might see something completely different. Hint: It has nothing to do with the lack of action. In fact, I hated the "ball" action parts just as much because really no one notices I'm slaughtering a bunch of people yet...notices that I have left the party for a few minutes. Please tell me how that makes sense in any world. Either way, instead of assuming why not ask me exactly what I didn't like about it ![]()
Show us on the doll where the mean Orlesian touched you.
You don't want to know the answer to that question. Those Orlesian men are ****** kinky. The women aren't much better either. They were all over my junk and I had no idea you could even put a spoon there let alone what they did with it. *shudders*
I guess the Taste of Despair was over powering huh? I want more fancy dancing. The end bit where you reveal the true assassin to the whole of the Court? Priceless. Ive not grinned so wide in a while.
I was very disappointed there is no grand dance. The one thing you'd think would happen at an Orlesian ball. I want to see my quizzy DANCE! Garrus and femshep? I want that dance. MAKE IT SO BIOWARE!
I loved it, but that is a matter of opinion.
This is one of those quests that people will either love or hate.
Fade anyone?
There is just no satisfying some people.
A side from lack of at lease one dress for the ladies. It was quite fun.
I know I'm so hard to satisfy. I can't tolerate boring and ill conceived quests in a game I paid for, its just my personality. I'm sure you'll learn to live with it. I know I have.
I didn't mind it, but I've only played it once, and I have a feeling I will begin to hate it in subsequent playthroughs. For court politics I didn't find it very intriguing or inspired, but peering into Orlesian culture the first time sated some curiosities. But now that curiosity is sated.
It's not DA:O Fade, though; I was beginning to hate that place on my first playthrough.
I have that same feeling. I don't feel like I learned anything that interesting about their culture or politics. So it is even a triple disappointment. I was expecting to be fun, entertaining, and less about action or combat. Instead it was the exact opposite. Complete frustration for me without a guide.
Dear Bioware

Ummm... No.
That quest was so much fun. I felt so giddy that I finally was able to play The Game.
The only part of the quest I didn't like were the hack-and-slash parts.
Dear Bioware,
Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts was fun and proper rendition of the Game. While some visibly disagree, others had fun with it. It was quite enjoyable not leaving a trail of bodies across the floor, per usual.
Please write more fun quests for us to enjoy or possibly hate. Makes things interesting.
Toodles,
Ashe
Edited because words, such as quest names, are apparently hard.
Quests like the ball is why I love Bioware games.
The quest did show me how utterly boring Orlais is and how its nobels all suck and need to be burned at the stake.

Loghain did try to warn us. Now people are learning the hard way.
I only hated the declining approval. It kinda sent me into a panic mode where I rushed by important rooms, only to realize that yeah, I kinda didn't have to worry about that. Oh well.
I didn't have an issue with the quest itself, it's that I didn't care for it.
You're given so much side info and then you get to decide what to do with the characters.
Problem is, I don't know Gaspard, Fiona or Celene, and I don't care for them.
No personal involvement and just awkward exposure to the characters and the story sorta made it less interesting than it could've been.
It does give you Morrigan, who completely blows out of the water any and all other NPCs in Inquisition - in half the game.
I loved the quest; granted there was some pointless combat. Plus it was a breath of fresh air and a reminder that the Inquisition is more than just an army, but an organization. On the other hand it made me hate Celene, Ghaspard and Briala equally, choosing between them is like picking which venom will take longer to take effect.
Guy, to quote you from one of my threads: Get over it.

I am blown away by the magnificence of this response. Truely, I am in awe.
Am I part of the Great Game now?
I'm just surprised people weren't complaining about this in larger numbers earlier. Great for me I enjoyed it but I can see it being the point that casual players stop playing.
