Best Quest in the game for me , was really digging into orlesian politics and stinky cheeses while trying to find out who the hell is is really who, keep them coming Bioware OP does NOT speak for the rest of us.
The only thing I skip in any Bioware game is the Fade in Origins, I HATE transforming into those retarded forms.
How does one skip The Broken Circle in DA:O?
Lol no. It was one of the best missions.
Preach!
As playing elf, I would've loved to be able to burn the place.
Because it was the las city for elves before the war against the Chantrie/Orlais.
Orlais took the city and kicked out the elves... so yeah, I would've liked to burn them
I personally I found it satisfying to be able to install an elven shadow government behind the throne instead.
It was my personal favorite in the game. /shrug
I'd hope to see more games like it; and, honestly, I think I lost fifteen Court Approval total in all my wanderings, and believe me, I got all my loot (and it's easy to have max court approval before you do major exploring). That was, admitedly, on hard, not nightmare, but still. The court approval dropping was an interesting mechanic, and to me, made things more fun.
That was my favorite quest. Owning the Game was so much fun.
Dear Bioware....
It would be grand if you did another political ball in a dlc or a future game,
Thank you it was one of my favorite quests and helped set the tone for how things work in the masked empire.
And here I thought it was one of the highlights of the game.
This isn't COD. You can handle intrigue for an hour or two.
My first playthrough I was having a panic attack over the declining court approval, but still managed 100 approval (got the achievement for it). My second playthrough I took my time and didn't pay any mind to my score and I still managed to get high enough approval to arrest Florianne...all this while playing an elf with an automatic -10 approval hit. It's not as big a pain as you think: just select the "correct" dialogue options.
I only wish I had enough halla statues to open all of the doors; how are we supposed to know our number is limited before it's too late?
To each is own but I agree with op. Boring, annoying and totaly unrealistic. Reminds me of talltale games I abhore but loved by so many at least id didn't have quick time events.
