No offense, but, why not play the game before jumping to conclusions about "stupid names" for characters?Barker673 wrote...
I agree, considering that 40 isn't much older than Shepard (And in the ME universe, that is still relatively young for a human) he definitely looks mid-50's I thought. Stupid name for him as well - sounds like something they picked out of a random name generator.
But sometimes these things don't translate well from ideas to conception. I mean, TIM is supposed to have close cropped silver hair and a hard, chiseled face except they gave him a brown quaff and the face of Martin Sheen...What?

Incredible stress makes you look older faster.
Look at the two most recent US presidents before/during/after office. (Before/during for President Obama, of course.) Stress ages quickly.
This. He looks appropriately aged. Anderson has aged better, but humans are, in the ME universe, aging far more gracefully than he has.
In the case of Massani, the man has been fighting (either in the military or bounty hunting) for quite some time. Of course his face took some damage...one of his eyes isn't natural, either. At least it doesn't natural.
Understandable why he wouldn't touch himself up the way someone like the Illusive Man does: as a Bounty Hunter, he probably wants his experience to show.
Look at Wrex. It pays to appear as grizzled as you really are in their line of work.

if you get hit in the face by an assault rifle or shotgun you won't have a scar
you will be dead
the idea that he can have scars on his face is hard to believe
its not like they are fighting with swords

He has a charming face. He doesn't look old, merely battle worn. Aint nothing wrong with that.
No, he doesn't look charming at all. He looks like a mean son of a beetch that has earned that look in battle.
I'm sorry, he is not charming, that is something you say about a cute little street urchin or a date to a dinner, not this guy:)

Ahh, so not one has battle scars, they are either hollywood models or they are dead. No one ever survived a fight or 10, no one ever survive an explosion or a bar fight. They are either dead or cool pictures on a GQ cover.
Gotcha.

Maybe they mixed up Mordin and Zaeed's ages.

Try ALL of them. Lincoln before and during/after is probably one of the best examples. Now, admittedly, he had one of the hardest Presidencies of all time with the country on the verge of collapse... but still.
Bush Junior's a good example too. Hell, look at him before and after first term alone, much less another 4 years.
This is something I actually showed to the kids in my classroom talking about the branches of the US government. There really is no more wearing job.
That said, his face is doable for 40, given that he's had a really tough job for most of it, apparently. Army/Navy then Bounty Hunting? Throw in some potential sleep deprivation (or at the very least, low sleep levels, say 6 hours a night instead of 8) and apparently some decent drinking... and yeah, you're gonna look a lot older than your average person would look at that age.

My main problem is that he's supposed to only be 5 years older than Miranda and Kaidan and less than 10 years older than Shepard. I understand that his life has "aged" him but it's crazy to think he's only 5 years older than Miranda.
Thought Shepard was 26 in ME1, so that makes him/her 28 in ME2. Meaning Zaeed has at least 12 years on him, not less than 10.

Because it IS a stupid name. Have you ever heard of a human, presumably british, with a name like Zaeed Massani?
No? I didn't think so. Even if you had, I still reserve the right of my opinion that is, in fact, a stupid sounding name.

I guess all the Indian people in London don't have British accents.
