I think it shows he is descended from Arabic roots, not a stupid name at all - just not typically western.  In the future most cultures will merge.  Bioware have done an intelligent job of showing this fact.

I'd say he looks to be in his 40s.



His face looks more scarred than wrinkled, and he looks to be blind in one eye. That makes him look older somehow.



On a side note, this guy may just turn out to be my favorite squad member. He looks like he is giving Shepard a run for his money in hardcore.

I agree with the OP, he looks way too old for his age. Especially considering this is many decades in the future with considerable advancments in medical technology.

What i found funny about the website profiles is that it says grunt is 22, when he is obviously not. He is basically born when/if you take him out of the tank. Age is judged from birth not conception and i am also fairly sure he hasn't been in that tank for 22 years.

im sure what the devs mean is he was created to be in that age range. full grown, build like a rock, and capable of doing his share. I wouldnt want a 1 yr old grunt by my side .  i get what your saying tho, and you right. Who cares tho why cant we just go with it :..P

how would a 1 yr old Krogan look like... would it be cute or like a snail ??? who knows ?  hopefully mass effect 3 answers my question .

Yeah i mean they even talk about how all the tank bred ahve ben made using accelerated growth techniques, so yeah his body is most likely that of a 20 year old, but still
