I would assume that the website age isn’t correct. He did co-found the Blue Suns sometime before he was shot 20 years ago anb he did a short tour in the Alliance first. Must have been part of the Blue Suns for a very short time.

Assuming all the data is correct I would have to say then that his appearance is due to his combat, scars and rugged living.

I honestly think Bioware screwed up the squad entries on the website. Zaeed is 40 but looks closer to 60. Mordin is listed as 50 but in Salarian years that's down right ancient. That's like have a 100 year old on your squad (in modern day 21st century terms) running around kicking ass. No freaking way. I think they got their entries crossed. But that's just me...

I agree the entries must be messed especially for Zaeed who should be older and Mordin who should be younger.

Agree with OP, Zaeed seems to be in his early 60s. He could be older due to MEs technology and human life extension, but he shouldn't be younger. I dont know any 40 year olds who have wrinkles around their lips like that.



He has extremely high DPS. I think he has a 60% weapon bonus. In comparison Shepard as a soilder only has 15. Most other NPCs have 25%.

I agree with one thing Zaeed is an epic fail altogether IMO.I make sure he dies at the end.

40 is way too young. I like his face though. It distinguishes him from other Bounty Hunter archetypes. I'd rather they just raise his age than change his face.

Cortisol is a ****, it's basically the body's "self-destruction" hormone. It reduces collagen elasticity, damages the liver, weakens the kidneys, strains the heart, increases the incidence of plaque in the brain and just generally kills you. Also, extended periods of cortisol buildup rapidly advances the aging process (mainly via that collagen elasticity bit).

He got shot in the face ... i think that could add 10 years of aging to your face... that and a lot of rage for 20 years. Anyway, 50 seems more appropriate than 40 (i mean, he was founding the Blue Suns at the age of 20?... he's badass but that's exaggeration).

The website also says Mordin is 50, when he himself says salarians don't really live past 40.

Yeah, I love how the Codex says some Batarian founded the Blue Suns, then his loyalty quest goes and totally contradicts that. Doesn't seem like they put as much thought into Zaeed as they should have.

But yeah, he looks too young. Or is it too old? Whatever.

What i found funny about the website profiles is that it says grunt is 22, when he is obviously not. He is basically born when/if you take him out of the tank. Age is judged from birth not conception and i am also fairly sure he hasn't been in that tank for 22 years.

im sure what the devs mean is he was created to be in that age range. full grown, build like a rock, and capable of doing his share. I wouldnt want a 1 yr old grunt by my side .  i get what your saying tho, and you right. Who cares tho why cant we just go with it :..P

how would a 1 yr old Krogan look like... would it be cute or like a snail ??? who knows ?  hopefully mass effect 3 answers my question .

He definately was in that tank for a while, if not, being 22 doesn't make sense. Krogan live well over a millenia, I doubt that their "Puberty" and transition to adulthood is within their first few decades.
