My memory is sketchy on the exact wording, but here goes:

 

Dorian: Are you and cassandra a... y'know....

Varric: What? No!

Dorian: Really?

Cassandra: I'm right here!
Dorian: See? She's right there! Now's you're chance, so what are you waiting for?

 

You forgot the second half of that conversation (also paraphrased)

 

Varric: Just because two people hate each other doesn't mean they are about to kiss.

Dorian: Not according to your books.

Varric: Don't confuse me with that hack who wrote Hard in Hightown II. I can spell.

Bull changing the conversations between him and Dorian into awkward, blatantly sexual moments is hilarious. So is Blackwall showing up Vivienne on fancy things.

Just heard the one between Iron Bull and Cassandra about The Iron Bull wanting to flip someone over if he attacks high and she attacks low, it made me laugh.

Cole and pretty much anyone. Sadly, I have yet to get any real cinematic with Cole. Varric bugging the hell out of Blackwall is always fun.

 

Sera and Cole bother me. Cole is such a sweetheart and she keeps on demanding that he shut up!  :crying:

Man, you guys are lucky to get banter. :( I've got that bug where my companions refuse to say anything.

 

Oh well. I've just accepted that I'll play this game in silence and I'll get to actually hear the banter when I do a second playthrough some time next year.

Possibly because they are the only ones who banter regularly for me, but also probably because they have grown to be my two favorite characters: Solas and Cole. I love the mentor dynamic. It seems that Varric is somehow supposed to be just as attached to Cole but so far he's barely said a single word to him when I take them out in the party together.

 

Also I just like hearing Solas talk. So him and pretty much anyone works for me.

I've been using Cole + Solas + Cass and they have some great banter.

 

One I remember was when Cole mentioned Cass thinking of someone and then she gets upset and says "Do you know what I'm thinking now?"

 

Cole responds: "My hat wouldn't fit in there."

 

Had me laughing so hard.

Paraphrasing(if my memory isn't failing me):
-I got a question from Sera for you, Solas.
- From Sera? It's probably an offensive question.
- Sort of...she wanted to know if you ever had someone in the fade...that was more than a friend, if you know what I mean.
- What are you? A 12 years old?!
- It's a simple question of yes or no.
- Things are complex in the fade...
Blackwall chuckles.
- It's our secret then, Solas.
Solas curses him.
Blackwall:
- Who's 12 years old now?


I found this really funny 'cause most of time Varric keeps bugging Blackwall and this time was him pestering Solas.  :P

Okay. This is my new favorite banter -

 

Blackwall: Sera and I were just talking about you. We need you to settle a question for us.
Solas: *sigh* Sera's involved? So this question will be offensive.

Blackwall: Yes, probably. Sorry. You make friends with spirits in the Fade. So... um, are there any that are more than just friends? If you know what I mean.

Solas: Oh, for ... really?

Blackwall: Look, it's a natural thing to be curious about!

Solas: For a twelve year-old!

Blackwall: It's a simple yes or no question!

Solas: Nothing about the Fade or spirits is simple, especially not that.

Blackwall: Aha! So you do have experience in these matters!

Solas: I did not say that.

Blackwall: Don't panic. It'll be our little secret.

Solas: Ass.

Blackwall: *laughs* Now who's twelve?

 

 

Personally, I think the banter should've ended when Solas called him an ass. The last part made it less funny, IMO. :b

And I must say, I agree with Blackwall here. You may be the Fade expert, Solas, but this question can definitely be answered with a simple "yes" or "no". Nothing complex about that.

 

And I quote, "Allow me to put on my 'skepticals'."

Dorian:Ahhh...What?

Dorian:No, it was very much not .

 

Bull:I'm just saying Dorian, you're carrying around this picture of the Qunari in your mind, you see us as this forbidden, terrible thing and you're inclined to do the forbidden.

 

Dorian:I have no Idea what you're talking about.

 

Bull:All I'm saying is that if you ever wanted to explore that, my door's always open.

 

Dorian:You are impossible...this is...urgh!

 

Bull:Good, I like that energy!Stoke those fires big guy!

 

(I imagined Dorian blushing heavilly during that banter)

 

After you return to skyhold and go back to a zone you may get the following banter...

 

Bull: So...Dorian, about last night?

 

Dorian: Discretion isn't your thing, is it?

 

Bull: Three times!Also, do you want those silky underpants things back or did you leave those as a token?Or wait?!Did you "forget" them so you'd have an excuse to come back?!You sly dog!

 

Dorian: If you choose to leave your doors open like a savage I may or may not come.

There's a slightly different variant of this if The Inquisitor is a Qunari, thought it was a nice little touch. :D
