We can only hope the Keep for DAI recognizes the romance flag. I can live without the card, but I don't want to recreate 70hs of playthrough manually.

Yeah. I'm hoping to romance Solas as a Lavellan next. But I'll miss Sera being all 'woof.'

I may try both?

The Wheel of Fortune. Not sure which card the Qun one represents.

His Qun one is the Ten of Swords.

Oh jeez. Yeah, I think I made the right call. Swords in general is not a happy suit.

Wow. Thank you so much for posting the description of the ten of swords. That's so depressing. I don't know if I'll ever manage a playthrough where I let that happen.

To OP, could we maybe add the names of their cards to the list? Just so those of us who are interested but know nothing about tarrot cards can look them up.

That's a good idea, will go through the thread and collect the ones already mentioned when I'm home later today. I'm not really knowledgable when it comes to Tarot (just very good with Google-fu), so if anyone wants to list the cards and which major, minor Arkana card they are, be my guest. :D

Honestly I have a hard time imagining making him Tal-Vashoth. He knows what being a Qunari is about, he knew this could happen, and while I regret the loss of the chargers, an alliance with the Qunari is far too important to throw away because Bull made a poor tactical decision.

Yeah that does not seem good at all lol and I was quite right it being ominous.

The problem is can you trust an alliance with the Qunari? When they made it known they will go on a war of conversion on everyone and now the inquisition has an alliance with them that opens a lot of doors for the Qunari.

Plus you pay attention to his banters among the characters its noted he is a "large" problem to the Ben Hassrath and many among them think he is Tal Vashoth already hell going by the cole banter he is afraid of becoming Tal Vashoth since he thinks he might turn into a savage.

After saving the chargers after listening to the dialogue/baner for the first time he has true comrades friends who will look out for him during the hard times and make sure he is on the right path. As going by the wheel of fortune things are hard now but in the end you will you will find something better or end up in a better place which happens in the saving chargers path and represents the wheel of fortune well.

Hence his Tal Vashoth card is the wheel of fortune which is more "positive" than swords.

I feel like I'm in the minority, but I've always been pro-mage. I can't imagine making a deal with the qunari, given what they do to their mages, and would do to H.O.F./Hawke/Quizno if said character was a mage and within qunari grasp. It's disappointing, because I love the rest of their philosophies, but I'm not interested in making all mages mute slaves.

Same here. The "reeducation" thing also makes allying with the Qunari not in the cards.

Is Viviennes card different if you give her a normal wyvern heart?

Yes it is different. If you give her the normal heart, her card is the same image, but she is all in red.

Ok, I added the position in the Tarot deck in the OP.

I guess Vivienne is the Queen of Cups as both the normal and the inverted card somehow fit her: She is described as a model of a loving virtue, one who is purer of heart than most, a loving mother and a loyal friend. The inverted card may warn the querent of a false lover or a deceitful friend or companion who pretends to be of a pure heart but is treacherous and manipulative.

Dorian after his companion quest is perhaps the Knight or King of Wands? The symbolism on the card suggests it at least.

The symbols on Cole's cards after his companion quest suggest suit of coins.

Varric's card with the red lyrium nightmares may be the Nine of Swords.

And I'm at a complete loss regarding Blackwall's and Iron Bull's romance cards.

I went this way too, people also forget that you're picking someone to die either way.  The problem with the chargers is it's personal and they have faces.  The people on the ship have lives and a job to do too, but since they don't have character development it's easier to throw them under.

Wait, which card of Dorian's is the Chariot?  I see the romance card listed as such but I thought the Chariot always featured an equine or set of equines of some sort. Or is there one in the romance card and I'm just not seeing it?  I've only rarely seen Tarot decks so maybe I am completely off in what the Chariot card usually looks like.

If it is the third card, what is the second?  The one where he is sitting on horseback.

Thx.  This thread has been very interesting.

Chariot in this deck is Dorian holding a flower out. Don't think it had a horse in it at all, but not all the cards match the traditional depictions. Like Cassandra as Strength minus all the trappings of strength.

Varric gets that kneeling card if you give him the Red Lyrium in DA2. Apparently he gets possessed and you can choose to kill him or keep him. If you keep him you get that card.

This is what I've heard, anyway, but I've yet to see video evidence.

I got my doubts too. Would be really cool if it did happen, though.

What exactly are the current consequenses for giving Varric the red lyrium in DA2?

He mentions that he gave it away for study and it's locked in like three lead lined chests, researchers can only expose themselves for an hour a week.
