Is there a way to acquire the templar armor around lvl 10? I know the schematics are sold at the hissing wastes, but I dont know when this area will become available..

If you want to get the armour early I think you need to advance the plot missions untill the wastes are availible. I can't remember the power required to unlock the wastes.
You will also need about 10K in gold for the schematic and to dodge all the mobs in the wastes as they'll muller a low level. The good news is both a camp and T3 metal are near the Merch, if you can unlock the one to the West the run is spawn free and will ned you about 12 volcanic (something) per run, takes very little time and the metal is a nice gold colour.

in the western approach you can pick up a set. You haveto follow the path of the chantry and it will lead you to a cave. Level 10-12 I think is the area...and 8 power to unlock.
