Terror demons
Red Templar Shadows
Despair demons
I second that,
IMO I think the Red Templar Shadows are over powered. I have Cassie so beefed up she can tank a dragon without drinking a health potion. Those guys? One hit and she is clinging on to stay alive.

Bears, bears, bears.
I had like five spawn at once in Hayders Wood in the hinterlands. Never again. Stephen Colbert was right.

Bear, despair demon, and in 3rd place is any critter. Because your warrior will suddenly decide to target nearest critter and run away to fight them.

Feel like I'm not playing on a high enough difficulty because despair demons don't bother me that much. (I usually send Varric after them)
Could also be because I play with a sword/shield tank inquisitor + cassandra which basically makes the battles boil down to GUARD GUARD GUARD GUARD
So my list is:
1. Anything with a shield (the down side of tanking....)
2. Bears. ******. Bears. Especially in the Hinterlands.
3. Terror demons. STOP. SPAMMING. DAMNIT.

I don't know their names, but the demons that ice blast you and flutter around like death-butterflies when you're trying to kill them. I've had to chase one well beyond where the actual rift was because it kept floating out of range.

Wraiths
Hound creatures

Bears,
Backstabby Rogues (Venatori, red templar),
Envy Demon (as one of the early bosses in the game it's pretty damn hard
Alexis boss on the mage quest line is so much easier)

1. Despair Demons - you're up sh*t creek if you dont have dispell or a fire mage at higher difficulties
2. Terror Demons - they should have made these more "uncommon" spawns, when you get 4 of them in one wave on nightmare and all but one dive to hit your mage, yeah you're screwed.
3. Dragonlings (in dragon battles) - not really all that tough, but annoying as hell. By the time you pick them all off so they will stop making your mages waste health potions, the dragons call in another group and has activated guard 2 or 3 times on nightmare.

Despair demons.
Stealthy assassins that you can't target until they've taken most of your mage's health with a backstab.
Poor wildlife that get in the way and make me feel bad when they get incinerated.

Terrors. They are like Banshee's with a new layer of annoying. The knock down from them jumping up from under you drives me mad. Any sort of rogue is annoying too when they pop up behind a Mage or Rogue and just take 99% of HP in one hit even on Normal XD.

1 Archers
2 Archers
3 Archers!!!
God damn this, archers are op.

Terrors(falling and lying on your arse is irritating and the animation lock of falling on your arse...), ROGUES(any freaking sort, all of them are BROKEN!) and to a lesser extent Pride demons(these are not irritating they are only long and boring fights because of the stupid un-stunnable or un-dispellable guard).

Picking 3, sheesh that's like half the codex of monsters you fight. hehe I kid I kid, its no better in previous DA games thats for certain. I would say despair demons and ice wraiths, their constant snares were a pain. Oh and I guess the Red Templar assassins, they could be pains if not killed fast.

Despair demons...
Those freaking despair demons I swear...
Good thing I had an Archer in my playthrough. Now I'm going with melee in my 2nd playthrough, I'll probably need grapple or bull rush to close the gap because they ALWAYS do that oh-so-frustrating "NOPE! I'm outta here bud! Look at meeeeee I spiiiiiiiiiin! Weeeeeeee, aaaaaaand * spins away, voice can barely heard in the distance * over here! I'm over here! NOPE! Ice beam, bull rush no worky worky!" move. And I play on Hard all the time.
Maker help us all.

Terror Demons, Terror Demons, and Terror Demons.
I had to grab all the Fire/Ice Mines I could to counter those evil devils.

Red Templar Shadows...they are the only ones who brought my quizzie to his knees once he specced to Knight Enchanter. Almost succeeded a second time, but that emergency barrier saved him.
I mean, immune to disabling effects? Really? The other assassin types can be frozen or whatnot, so why are these guys special snowflakes?
Despair demons are a major pain in the butt, with their constant jumping and ice beams and overly-fast popsicle attacks (compare dat attack rate to a regular archer, or wraith), but especially when they prop up that ridiculously powerful barrier when close to death. Thankfully, Cassie can Spell Purge their ass, if they don't run away that is.
Fighting terrors is fun as a Knight Enchanter. They try to ambush me with the ground attack, I reverse ambush them with fade cloak. Oh, and vulnerability to spirit damage. Take That!

That Coryphe......thing was awful. Just spamming teleports. I'm glad there's only one of him in the game.
Too bad the same can't be said of the Dragons. Worst Mobs ever.
And the Carta. In both ways.
(I actually don't like the Carta. The other ones are neither mobs nor bad)

Templars with shields. So annoying how they block everything. Love seeing them set on fire.
And the fire wraith that burns you. Not so much fun. Luckily my crafted armor tends to have fire resistance.

The Lyrium Smuggler Stalker guys with their pointy hats and their annoying stealthing and backstabbity ridiculousness. There's this annoying, to me anyways, patch of the Hinterlands that is basically a no man's land between the smugglers and the bears and the feral mabari but there is a campsite on the far end and it's so far out of the way that I'm usually out of potions and relying on all the guard the tank can spam while these bears just run down from the hills and the smugglers take the opportunity to stab my party in the back while they're distracted.
Harlequins and Shadows are annoying too...basically, anyone who stealths and is stabbity. Which is why I find it kind of awkward that so many people seem to be complaining about dw rogues. The npcs seem to have it down. xD
Static Cage takes care of the Terrors for me...delightful to see them try and dive under the ground to pounce and get yanked back. And the Despair Demon's silly shrieking and porting around I keep in check by just standing under the Rift and shooting fireballs at them.
Ugh and those Templar Knight Lieutenants (or whatever rank those big buffing armoured fellows are). They zap everyone with their bad trip lyrium and make everything worse.

Archers by far, I play a rogue and he's killing it only to get hit time and time again by archers...does this game even have a hit/miss chance (aka dex in DA:O)? It doesn't feel like it.

Despair demons, Terror Demons but more than anything... wolves.
Why wolves you ask well because for just five minutes I would like to walk through the exalted plains and enjoy the veiw without a damn pack of wolves chasing a halaa!! I mean seriously it just never ends, if I'm even romotely anywhere outside of a war encampment there they are AGAIN!! How have I not killed all the wolves in this area yet?!
You know the best part is they drop nothing but crappy leather I don't need and give nothing for xp.

Terror Demons (the ones that sound like banshees), red templar archers, and the red templar monster things that fire that weird projectile.
Otherwise, I don't mind the despair demons, but those banshee terror demons... they can die in a fire.

Despair demons are the worst I think, followed by fear demons and terrors. Fear demons not so much, but they have a ton of hp, powerful attacks and can armor up. Terrors are just plain annoying with their little teleports and AoE attack which they always seem to do right in the middle of my cooldowns on abilities that will knock them down...
