Is there anything, official or unofficial, that I can use to flag various decisions (at LEAST major ones) made in the previous games?

 

Something similar to the Dragon Age Keep they released for Inquisition, though I don't expect anything with as much detail as that.

 

Basically, I haven't played Mass Effect 1 or 2 in years and don't have my save games anymore. I'd like to at least be able to see some old choices persist. The character creation allows you to choose Ashley or Kaiden, but I'd like to be able to decide other things, like Wrex's fate, destroying the facility at the end of ME2 or giving it over to Cerberus or, most importantly, the relationship between the news reporter and my fist.

 

Anyone know of anything at all that can do this? A basic save game editor, maybe? Preferably something relatively simple, not nitty-gritty editing and whatnot.

I've been using Horizon and Gibbed save editor to change story decisions without having to replay ME and ME 2. It's pretty simple if you follow the tutorial.

Genesis looks like it might be exactly what I'm looking for. If not, I'll be sure to check out Horizon as well.

Well, in that case, Use Gibbed. All the sidequests  + Feros are disconsidered in Genesis.

Genesis 1:

The six choices that players can make in Mass Effect: Genesis are as follows:

• Who became Shepard's love interest?
• Should the Rachni Queen on Noveria be freed or destroyed?
• What is the fate of Urdnot Wrex on Virmire?
• Who is sacrificed on Virmire, Ashley Williams or Kaidan Alenko?
• What happens to the Citadel Council during the Battle of the Citadel?
• Who does Shepard endorse to represent humanity on the Council, David Anderson or Donnel Udina?

Genesis 2:

Mass Effect: Genesis 2 allows players to make six choices from Mass Effect and six choices from Mass Effect 2.

Mass Effect

• Who became Shepard's love interest?

• Who is sacrificed on Virmire, Ashley Williams or Kaidan Alenko?

Mass Effect 2

• How many squadmates did Shepard recruit, all of them or only some?
• Did Shepard resolve or ignore the conflicts between some squadmates?
• Did Shepard stay true to friends from Mass Effect, or move on?
• Did Shepard immediately go through the Omega 4 Relay to rescue the crew, or improve the Normandy SR-2's weapons and armor first?
• Did Shepard start a new romance?
• Did Shepard choose to spare or destroy the Collector Base?

Notes: Kasumi and Zaeed won't appear.

 

The geth Won't be mentioned at all, only in their involvement on Eden Prime

 

There are some Romance Options missing. Miranda and Jacob's Romance are locked, unless the player selects the option to "Move On". Thane and Jack aren't available

 

Horizon isn't mentioned.

 

Again, Feros isn't mentioned and all the other side missions from ME and ME2 aren't mentioned at all.

 

If you choose to resolve Squad Conflicts, it implies that Tali wasn't exiled(So she's and Admiral). The Geth Heretics were destroyed. Both Tali and Legion are loyal.

Maelon's Research Data has been deleted, Mordin also killed Maelon. Morinth is killed by Samara.

Minor Characters don't appear at all. Ex: Conrad Verner, Jenna. The reporter won't also make the comment about "Never punching her/Always punched her" in the previous games. Kirrahe's been killed in Virmire. Balak WILL appear.

 

Mordin doesn't sing.

 

The Decision when choosing rescue the crew/prepare the Normandy mark the appearence of Ken, Gabby and Kelly.

Still don't cry for Jacob part at least...you won't miss a thing because he is locked as romance

Trust me way better this way...too bad he wasn't locked romance in game as well.
