Who do you like more or feel more proud of?

In my case, I don't know which I prefer: the Warden or Inquisitor (both human male, warden is warrior while Inquisitor is archer (rogue)). Both of them are sarcastic but good natured, the main difference lies on what they did for the world... Which I can't say for sure who was more impressive...

So: Inquisitor <=> Warden >>> Hawke

Sarcastic fem Hawke is my favorite pc of all time, the VA did perfect job with it and there is so many funny and priceless lines that made me laugh. No other pc (or game) has managed to do that to me. Between Warden and Inquisitor, I don't know yet.

I'm more attached with voiced characters, so Hawke and Inquisitor it is for me.  ^_^

The more I think about it, the more I like hawke.  Because hawke is just an everyman/woman.

I haven't finished DAI but it feels like my inquisitor is going the path of my warden:  selfless hero, unstoppable warrior, savior of the world.  And we play protagonists like that all the time.

but sarcastic warrior hawke?  He's just this guy trying to help his sister and mother, who signed up for the wrong (or right?) deep roads expedition for easy $$, and whose drama-queen friend turned out to be a terrorist who started a war.  True, he stepped up big time vs. the Arishok and earned his title.  But overall, he's just a guy.  The Warden and the Inquisitor are Epic, capital e.

Right now I'd say I favor the ordinary.

I love all of them but I still ultimately prefer my Warden. He started out as an alienage street rat and ended up a legendary Grey Warden Reaver (Which is my most favorite specialization in the series, both from a lore and gameplay standpoint). And his relationship with Morrigan is still the best thing I've experienced in the whole franchise imo. She's a wonderful character :)

I know the Warden's supposed to have retired from the role of playable protagonist, but I still imagine mine as being my default avatar in Thedas, and I always find myself wishing to play through new lands and stories as that character. Especially so in Inquisition because the Reaver spec is so much fun to play as now. I want to watch my Warden tear bad guys apart with reaver-y Dragon claws

Hawke had the best story, so I'll go with Hawke.

I feel sad at how all of them die, ultimately. I'm not looking forward to the Inquisitor's story being over, but I guess they'll offer us a chance for her to sacrifice herself, too.

I think that's probably the best they can do. I mean, have you seen Hawke in the Fade? Her appearance was amazing, the quest was fabulous, but when MY Hawke started saying "WardensBadBadWardens", all I could do was just sit open-mouthed and blink. My Hawke never judged, and my Hawke respected the Wardens - her lover is one, her brother is one. Those words? That wasn't Hawke, that was the writers turning Hawke into their mouthpiece(since Loghain was pro-Wardens, someone had to represent the opposite point of view).

So, rather than seeing my Inquisitor turn into a stranger and start saying some stupid things(like she holds a grudge about Solas, or how she looks forward to continuing with the Inquisition, instead of finally shutting that monster and running away), I'd rather see her sacrificed.

The Warden, no contest. Hawke was okay. I feel nothing for the Inquisitor.

So far, it's Hawke > Inquisitor > Warden for me. I didn't feel attached to the Warden because of the lack of voice acting.

I was less attached to Hawke, I mean I love her so much, but I couldnt create what I have wanted, she had the same origin as any hawke, and if a mage maybe a little diffrence, she was only human, and etc. However my Warden I felt close to him, and to the Inquisitor.

See, it's a curious thing, because the lack of a voice is one of things that connects me most to the Warden; I imagine how the
Warden sounds, rather than having it decided for me. Each time I play Origins (16x) the Warden is a unique individual who sounds different to the others (in my head, obviously), but when I play DA2 or Inquisition, it's just the same guy with a different face on.

That's cool. Different strokes and all that. I just found that every Hawke felt alike irrespective of what face I gave them because they always sounded the same and delivered the same lines. It's a little less glaring with the Inquisitor having two voices, but I still find the silent protagonist makes for better replay. Obviously, ymmv.

My only problem with the voice acting was control.  Sometimes (or often on 1st playthrough) I'd select an dialogue option only to be suprised / disapprove of what hawke actually said.  That kind of thing breaks immersion for me.  DAO gave the player more control.

The Warden is leagues above Hawke and Inquisitor, who both sit calmly in the second place. There is no way any playable character can ever topple my warden off the pedestal I've put him :D

For me, I think it's really a question of Inquisitor or Warden for first place.  The fact that the Inquisitor is a voiced character with a distinct visible personality might tip it in his favor a bit.

I'm going to go:  Inquisitor > Warden >>>>>>>>>>Leliana>>>>>>>>>> Orlesian Warden Commander >>>>>>>>>>>>>Hurlock General > Hawke

I liked Hawke but it's not a character you can make yours like the Inquisitor and isn't your character like the Warden.

But i have a really big soft spot for my Qunari Inquisitor, I just love how the game acknowledges my race and class choice, the british voice actress is also great so i've become really attached to my character.

So for me it's: Inquisitor>Warden>Hawke

Yeah, I'm not really thrilled with the character assassination the wardens got in DAI either.

I imagine Duncan in spinning in his grave.
