When I saw the Pyramid thing my first thought I admit was Necrons not Mass Effect given the black and green though the people in the ice ceiling was amusing and reminded me of the cave on hoth in star wars.

I was just chatting with Sera about her past last night.  At one point she starts setting you up to think she's the crazy orphan from the alienage (which was in the Keep, after all), but then she's like 'Lol, jk'

The Par'as Cavern (filled with spiders and Deep Mushrooms) could be a reference to the pokemon Paras (technically a spider with mushrooms on it).
