Bought the regular edition, but would love to get my hands on that flaming sword, is it possible to buy it as dlc, no? Or is there a any other sword in the game with an equal effect? Preferably 2-handed.

If youre talking about wanting to get the sword because it looks cool, no not that im aware of (its not that great anyways). But if you want the flaming effect you just need the fire rune, which you can get through crafting or random drop. If you dont know where to get the schematic, there are videos on youtube of their locations.

Yep the DLC Weapons are really useless. I found very fast better Weapons from drops. Craft your own fireweapon, it´s cheaper as buying a DLC Key.

They are ugly and not that usefull.

The weapons where another design afterthought in the game. You only obtain them after the prologue but you will almost immediately find a better weapon in the Hinterlands rendering them useless. They should either have been higher quality or available for the prologue.

After you get to skyhold, you get schematics for said items, and will be able to craft them in whatever fashion you want, still the stats wont be super great, but you will continually get better schematics for them.

If you are thrifty, do not want to buy schematics and are unlucky with drops then the superb level dragon items are good.

I am using them right now high level Tier2 but I am about to look at Tier3 stuff, no idea if I will get new schematics for them or not.

You can get the Flames of the Inquistion as DLC if you have a Xbox One. If you want it for Xbox 360 you will have to purchase the deluxe edition upgrade. I don't know about PS3 or PS4.
