Hey there!
I'm pretty new to DA:I, just unlocked Skyhold. I'm playing a dwarven tank. I played one in DA:O with the armor from the Legion of the Dead and I heard that this armor is also available in DA:I. My question: Where can I get this armor? I'm pretty excited about this, because the Legion of the Damned was the most epic part of DA:O for me.

You can obtain the Legion of the Dead Armour in the Hissing Wastes. There is a quest which requires you to search through several dwarven tombs and one of them contains the Schematic.
Just to let you know what you need to craft it:
Armour: 21 Metal
Defence: 12 Metal
Defence: 8 Metal
Defence: 8 Leather
Masterwork: 1 Masterwork
And lucky for you that the armour itself is Dwarf only! I can't remember which exact dwarven tomb it was but it's no big deal as this quest gives you a LOT of schematics. As far as I can remember I *think* I got it in the final tomb (which is East of the Map, past the sleeping dragon). Hope that helps!

The look is different and you can only use them on an Dwarven Inquisitor or Varic. The stats are very defensive and there is at least one other option with better stats, similar look which can be crafted for any race.
