I haven't been able to redeem my DLC (I should have the Steam preorder items, etc.).  When I start DA and log in, I am unable to see any DLC available, although all codes have been redeemed successfully.

It seems the problem is that the DA Updater service is not running properly on my machine.  When the game starts, I can see a lot of the following errors in the event log (windows XP, SP3, 32-bit), the game was purchased using Steam:

I get the same type of error when I try to manually start the service.  I am running from an account with administrator access and I've tried uninstalling and installing the service.  I just can't seem to start it.  Any ideas would be appreciated.  Could this be a permissions issue?

I'm seeing the same issue on fully updated 64-bit XP. Have you gotten anywhere with this?

Guess i'll stick to torrenting in future. I admire the guys who made this game, so I decided to actually purchase it rather than torrent. Hehe, well, damn.
