All right, so I know I can keep Celene on the throne, or I can let the assassination happen and let Gaspard take over. You can also execute Gaspard and make Briala and Celene work together, and I've also heard you can make all three players (Celene, Gaspard and Briala) work together.

What I'd really like to know is this: what do I need to do if

(a) I want to empower Briala as much as possible at everyone else's expense?
( B) I want to make Gaspard and Briala work together at Celene's expense?

I'd be interested in this myself, I kind of screwed up the Ball and I wouldn't mind picking the option beforehand next time.

Easy, you need to dig dirt on all three of them. After that, you can do whatever you like.

I am unsure, it may depend on how much evidence you expose.  Empowering Briala (at all) might require Celene and Gaspard's death.  So maybe...allow the assassination, then confront Gaspard and put Briala in power?

I saw a Utube that showed the Inquisitor making them all work together, not sure its possible to get Gaspard and Briala to work against Celene (outside of what they'd normally do) and since the entire point is to restore stability to the Empire to get them on board with the Inquisition and throw a monkey wrench into the Elder One's manipulations toward chaos it kind of works to defeat your own goals and help the Elder One.

I found dirt on all three and then made them work together.

I liked the ending slide that came with that also.

-support briala

-support celene

-celene/briala reunited

-everyone lives

-florianne arrested

-save celene

-celene dies

So far I like the one where I give all power to Gaspard after letting Celene die. Or let Celene die then give power to Briala but with Gaspard as the face on the throne. So Briala is pulling all the strings.

After seeing (hearing) how Celene treats the alliance with the Inquisition, I refuse to leave her stay in power

These what I found out so far:

- Celene lives

  • Gaspard executed
  • Gaspard exiled
  • Briala pardoned and exiled
  • Briala incriminated
  • Briala reunited with Celene
  • Briala working with Celene
  • Blackmail all 3 of them
  • Florianne arrested
  • Florianne killed

-Celene dies

  • Briala controls Gaspard
  • Gaspard rules
  • Florianne killed

Celene is grateful and she supports it because she knows that without it she would not be in power.

-snip-

What's the ending say if Briala and Celene are re-united?

I got this as well but it's different for some people http://dragonage.wik...e_(Inquisition) this seems to list quite a few different outcomes.

What are you getting this from? Celene never stopped supporting me after I made her empress.

The epilogue can say different things for each ruler I believe. I'm not sure what determines whether Orlais stays grateful or not but perhaps it has to do with court approval?

I don't know, haven't done that yet. I just know of it.

Hmm. It seems Leliana is still the best choice for divine.

The epilogue was a bit unclear on Briala and Celene

I ask again (third time now) here in this thread. To those of you you had all three of them in your pockets: Did any of you choose the "You all work for me now!" forceful option and if so, what did you ending slide tell you?

1-4)The civil war is ended, but a new war rages in the shadows. Gaspard it seems, has learned his lesson well.

1-4)Even the elves have no rest, with Briala's uprising rocking the empire to its core.''

From what I've heard I believe it's this one from the wiki but I'm not totally sure.

And if my guess is right this follows.

1-3)The empire's ties to the Inquisition remain strong, both sides benefiting from the ongoing relationship.

1-3)Some resent this, calling Celene the Inquisitor's puppet - though they do not do so openly.

1-3)Orlais prospers, and soon forgets that it could very easily have been otherwise.
