Glad I dropped 8 grand on the schematic....



But then I am at that point in the game where everyone has purples or crafted and I amuse myself by giving everyone fancy hats, so no biggy I guess.

Yeah I don't think she'd be caught dead in anything "elfish".  She really is something else.  She's like a kid, who hates kids.

I did....a set of Dalish Scout Armor, it was awesome.

the term is elf trained not dalish though. still i don't think she'd ear it but as some people have reported they can't equip elven gear as an elf then its likely a bug.

 

does sliverite also over ride race restrictions as well as class?

 

OP trying remaking out of silverite and see if you can put it on her or anyone else.

It's annoying that there are certain cool armors that can't be used for anyone depending on your choice of inquisitor. This example is particularly bad, and also when crafting it, you can see what it would look like.......On Solas.....but not Sera, and then he can't wear it anyway cos he's not a rogue. Same for the legion of the dead armor, really wanted to use that but i just don't want to play a dwarf.....In DA:O you could equip LOD armor on any race....made no sense but was cool

It's funny how this bug suited the story aspect.

if you craft from silervite you can bypass class restrictions, don't know about race though.

 

and further looking it seems sera is in fact human trained, makes sense and appears its not a bug after all. (it does fit her character after all) rather then the game not detecting elf trained.

Actually Sera claims she never trained and everything she can do she just picked it up, by teaching herself. So i would argue she is infact elf trained since she is after all an elf.

accept she hates elve's and everything to do with culture. if only i could leave her in the fade, not even talking about the mission where you go it the fade, just straight up mid convo up up a rift suck her into the fade then seal it. 

 

tell the bard to add another verse to sera song, grab a tankard of beer and chat with bull.

I have to say this feels like a bug to me, that seems very arsey to me in terms of crafting to have her as an elf but attribute this down to "her personal story" they may as well just have made her an unlikeable human, what on earth is the point of her being an elf in this game?

this actually makes me giggle. im sorry but not caring about your races culture when it has never done or meant anything to you, I would actually classify as pretty common.

i mean the character in general, but i can see how you took it to mean my gripe with her was focused around her views on elves.

My dwarf rogue couldn't wear the Carta armor for some odd reason, yet Varric could and it wasn't restricted to him, just dwarves.

Silverite doesn't override race restrictions, FYI, only class ones.  Ditto the non-class cloth (Dalish loden wool?) and leather (can't remember).

Why does there have to be a point? More specifically, why does that point have to be her armor?

Would be nice if you could know it was elf trained only before you buy the schematic.
