I am disappoint. Do want Cassandra to bunk with the Inquisitor.

I thought I read somewhere that one of them did move in. Maybe I'm mistaken. The only I romanced so far was Dorian and he didn't, so I'm not sure who does (if anyone).

I'm more concerned about the dangerously under construction tower area between the throne room and the quarters. You'd think someone would have gotten on that.
Yeah, seriously. Your impenetrable fortress has massive holes in its walls. I can penetrate Cass anytime I want, but... I just woke up and can't think of a good joke. I'll come back to this. It's somewhere, there's a joke there somewhere.

Maybe they should have added some personal items (or swords for Cass:) ) to show someone beside you live/sleep in the quarters....if you romance someone. ..
Keep in mind we only see little of the journey (30%?) so maybe she/he is just spending his/her time at the place they prefer and go to rest at your quarters...?
...tho I have only romanced Josephine so far so maybe that doesn't work for the rest of the romances:)

And that corridor between Josephine and the War Room has a gaping hole in the outside wall, with bricks scattered on the floor.
Did anyone ever see this get fixed? It was never fixed in my playthrough.

There was never really a reason to go to your quarters at all except the scroll originally.

I haven't romanced Solas and every time I go to chat with him he roofies me and I wake up in my room alone ![]()

I was a little concerned about the lack of bathing facilities.
Rather more concerned about one of the walls still not fixed and a hole on the way to the war room.
I had some banter between Viv and blackwall where she tells him the inquisition DOES have bathing facilities and he should use them

You have given a new perspective of Solas to me. And not the good kind.

Bioware, if you're reading this, my feedback would be that I'd love to extend the romance arch in the expansion (if it ever comes to be) and by doing so, getting my LI to move in to my quaters.
That would be really nice.

Still better than some Companions live ... Vivienne more or less seems to live in the grand hall where everybody can hear her snore ...
And those complains here are really stretching it. No Romance moving in? Come on, Bioware BOTCHED yet another thing! There is NO privy in the quarters?! Should my Quizzy just ... empty herself over the balconies into the courtyard?! This is the Dragon Age we have now! I want this FIXED ASAP, Bioware, or you lose ALL credibility!!!
No privy...worst RPG EVER! Total EA-Sellouts... *walks away mumbling like a raving idiot*...

Most of the places in disrepair are ones near sensitive areas, though. You don't want teams of workers barely anyone knows trooping around near where the Herald of Andraste sleeps on the regular. That's asking for assassination and sabotage. (And notice that it's probably THE most defensible room in the fortress--that wouldn't be an accident. There's so many ways to blockade it, and it'd be really hard for a stranger to get around in there without the Inquisitor noticing, what with all the stone and creaky wood and stairs. It seems secure enough, building integrity-wise, so any additional repairs would probably just be cosmetic in the relatively short time we're there.) Same with the war room, to an extent.
The more secure a place is supposed to be, the less and less people you expose to it. And the war room hallway seems to be sort of in the middle of the fortress more-or-less? Not quite that big of a potential security breach.
Or that's how I explained it to myself, anyway.
Edit: Also, yes, more reasons to visit your quarters would be grand. I didn't touch them after the scroll, and the only time I ended up there was when I was teleported there by a cutscene. Kind of disappointing ):

I would really like to see more functionality be introduced for your quarters in the xpac. Also I think we will see Skyhold become more fixed in the xpacs as well, b/c there are still towers that are completely unused and in disrepair, so there is "room to grow," so to speak
So what I think may happen is by the time BW is done with Inquisition and ready to move on to DA4 you will see a Skyhold that is completely restored, at least as much as it can be (I know there was a builder's note that it was unfeasible to fix problems with the prison)

Yeah I'm fairly certain Cullen would be happy to move into a room that didn't have a massive hole in the ceiling...he'll need to bring some pillows though because my Orlais 3 bed doesn't have any for some reason
...maybe Solas did something weird with them while I was knocked out ![]()
Also Bioware can we get an option to change the rugs in our quarters - they go with nothing and not having any control over one of the biggest parts of the decor in that room really bothers me ![]()

Oh! Thanks for bringing this up!
Here is my list of dislikes with your character's quarters.
1. Lack of interaction.
In DA2 you were able to interact with objects around your manor. In your personal quarters there is NO interaction. I would have liked to gone into my quarters to see notes from my romance and maybe some flowers. Beyond that why not a nap on your couch or your bed.
2. Empty areas.
When walking in there is a wooden scaffold and a room below you. Why could not this not be your own personal armory. Putting your favorite weapons on plaques or your favorite armor on mannequins.
In the main bedroom area there is a closet of sorts. It would have been nice this room housed a mirror to change your character's look and a chest to store your items.
3. Lack of change.
Allow the decor of the castle and your bedroom to be separate. For example: Say you want the castle to be deorated in Inquisitor and your bedroom in Magi.
4. Moving In.
After the consummation of your relationship, your character should have the option to ask your romance to move in. However depending on the character you chose to romance, they may remain where they normally are.
5. Lack of happy time.
As an example, if Cullen chooses to sleep in my quarters instead his room, I (you) will have the option to go to sleep with him. A small sweet cut scene plays out. Of course the option to just have a kiss is there still too.
That is all that comes to my mind right now.

One time when I visited my quarters, there was a guy hiding in a closet who asked me a sort of quiz-question about dragon age lore. (I swear I am not making this up) He said he'd come up with more in the future but then I won the game, so I dunno what the deal was there.
Otherwise, yeah, more purpose for the quarters would be nice.

This!
Plus a privy. I mean of all the things they could have taken from skyrim why did they not add sitting down? I want to sit and do some paperwork or something.
That library where the quizzy says "I can store an army here" I wish it contained more secrets on skyhold.

Your room looks amazing, but it should have some content in it to interact with...I kept expecting something (battle trophies, etc) to show up on the balcony or inside that little room with the casks. Seems a good place to put your Bottles of Thedas collection versus that room off of the kitchen.
Also, the stairwell outside my room has a large templar banner hanging on the wall for...reasons? I'm a mage and it's rather awkward.
