I can't help but love this picture... It works on all the wrong levels.

Got the line where Krem congratulates Bull and I for being together.

 

But something in his tone sounded off. Very monotonous, like he wasn't actually happy for me. Thoughts?

 

I want a true blessing from Krem, not him just going through the motions.

When he said it to me it sounded like his usual tone of voice.

Personally I don't think he really sounds enthusiastic ever, lol. His tone changes when he's joking around with the Chargers, but other than that it's pretty level throughout the game.

haha, I actually saw something on Tumblr that suggested Dalish/Krem and I was like !!! that could work! He did tease her in the drinking scene.

I love Dragon Age and want to play the new game, but I can't at the moment.

Aw, the German voice for Krem is much more feminine, why can't Hale just know all the languages so she could voice him for everyone? I love German, I took two semesters of it. I just really sucked at it, haha.

It likely is; Krem himself said he wouldn't change her body if he could and that includes the things that include pitch and tone and depth of a voice.

 

Isn't that the whole point? I mean its about like the Qunari Female/Male Warriors in their culture, i have little doubt they sound like women regardless of their assigned gender role.

 

Cremisius was born one gender and that doesn't agree with it; That doesn't change that physically he would be that gender.

 

Hence you know having all the things associated with it, including tone of voice.

 

Pity smoking isn't a thing in Thedas or i'd have recommended that, it adds rasp and thickness to a person's tone if this was seriously a concern for the character.

There's a thing called voice training where you can change the pitch and tone of your voice, and it wouldn't surprise me if that was something Krem had done. He specifically said that he wouldn't let magic near him to change his body, but voice training, binding, packing, hair cuts, these are all things that wouldn't require magic that he can do, and it's obvious he's done at least a few of them.

Voice training is something Thespians do, from the characters background that would come WAY out of left field, Poor family, military life style until exiled, runs into Bull and then helps found the charges.

 

I don't know, its a question for a dev i guess.

 

And i don't know to be honest beyond the hair cut he looked feminine to be honest; Actually sort of cute but anyway.

Back to the point really there even is one; unless if you prefer we talk about how i was ogling Krem?

What little I got to know about Krem was great and engaging!  I was interested in his story and helping the Chargers.  I may have liked him more than Iron Bull in some ways.  Cheers to Krem! (Also, just learned that he was voiced by Jennifer Hale, right on!)

To me I felt like the VA didn't want to get too excited lest Krem might accidentally sound too high-pitched. xP But I dunno.
