I'm curious as to which class does the most damage and which character does the most damage

1. On average probably rogues - all classes there are dps afterall.

2. Reaver by a good margin on single targets. On multiple targets it depends on their number and position of the enemies. Under favorable circumstances AW can get close (if enemies are really spread out and groups are far away from each other). Just for regular facesmashing in a match - still reaver.

Aoe: Necro with living bomb and Ele might be good too

Single : Don't forget the archer with mark of death, if used properly, it can do an amazing burst.

Don't forget the wombo combo templar (small pbaoe tho), i have already did a 5k aoe damage with her (against demon) but really situationnal.

Walking bomb, yeah, but it's situational and enemies need herding (and will still take some time to trigger).

Actually you are right, burst damage on archer/templar will be higher, reaver can't really burst. Sustained he will catch up though.
