I started a new character and when I get to the first rift to close in the intro, I am unable to target anything. Thus, I can't fight (using female elf mage) and the intro will not progress. I just see everyone keep fighting for eternity without any capabilities of my own. I have loaded previous saves, to no avail. This is a game breaking bug.

Finally got it to work by getting in melee range. Sheesh.

Aren't the controls great? I thought there was a locked door I couldn't pick until I realised at the second locked door that the reason it wasn't opening was that the rogue wasn't close enough. Stupid console controls.
