No fem!Qunari in the other topic, though?
Not yet, but I will get to it, don't worry. ;P

Here's mine. I used the third preset for this

Here is mine

Ironically the only face i was entirely happy with was on my Inquisitor who got stuck in the intro and was unable to escape to the top of the hill and clasp the lady's hand and leave the Fade. Other than that i'm not even close to as happy with a face. ![]()
I think I used the first preset for Taerel here, but I'm not 100% sure. I didn't make any screens of his sliders as I was in a hurry to get started (sorryyyyy!!). Either way, he's the result of 5 minutes of random slider fiddling and I couldn't be more happy with the result
(I do enjoy showing him off lol)

I would cut off my left leg to get Cole's hair style for my male elf. I literally hate 100% of the elf hair styles in this game. Because none of them were actually designed with male elves in mind.
I have officially given up on making any male elf until BioWare comes out with Hair DLC (not holding my breath though).
These male elfs.... <nosebleed>

Yeah, they kind of all look like women.

I didn't think mine looked womanly. ![]()
here's a few I created. All I can tell you is I always start with preset 3
This is the best male elf look I have seen so far in DA:I.
He looks handsome and manly. Many of the male elves I see look very androgynous. This one looks masculine.
I followed your advice on starting with preset 3. My elf looks like yours except he has smaller ears, shorter hair, slightly darker skin and brown eyes.

Thanks, I think the second is my best one. I wish we had face codes, it would save me time trying to duplicate this character over and over.
Here's my latest rendition. This face still needs a lot of work...sigh

My first attempt on male Elf creation. I know that I can do much better, since for my female Elf alone I'm around 20+ attempts and not completly happy yet... But I do like his concept and will work on it.

I've struggled with making a male elf. Most of the elves I'd seen modeled seemed, to me, that they had faces too long, too narrow. They looked horse-like, even. It bugged me to no end, especially since my elven females looked really good, I thought. But I pressed myself to make a guy who looked appealing.
I stuck to some rules, in the end. Including:
1. Don't narrow the chin and jaw too much. It makes the dude-elves look overly feminine. I wanted an elf who looked attractively masculine. Even if he's young-looking, too. I wanted a guy who's more rebellious, willing to strike out on his own and away from the clan. He needed to be youngish.
2. The brow and forehead shouldn't be manipulated too much from the head models you start with. I preferred models 1 and 4, more than anything else. But whenever I tried fiddling with the foreheads, I ended up completely icking myself out.
3. Took me a while to shape the nose to my own specific sense of attractiveness, but I, personally, don't like the DA2 manner of puffing up the bridge of the nose until it really didn't exist. My elf's nose ended up looking more human than not, but I prefer it that way.
4. I like elf ears to be fairly larger than normal but not sticking out too much. I also tend to raise them up higher on the head and then keeping them fairly tucked closer to the head. I also refuse to tuck my elf ears under the hair. I want them to be proud of their elven heritage -- they're Dalish, after all.
5. I don't like make-up. Not in real life and not in a game. My female elves don't wear blush and have carefully manipulated eye shadows and liners so they're not too intense, and in more natural hues like brown, too. I generally turn down just about every intensity on lip color and then basically turn the lip shine OFF.
6. Turn the head to the side A LOT! A LOT!

here's a few I created. All I can tell you is I always start with preset 3
Wow! love them all.. Icluding your last one)
And @phyreblade74's elf looks great too

Yes, he looks very young and more than a little androgynous. I don't have a problem with that. ![]()
I used preset #4 then chose different sliders for eye shape, eyebrow type, lips, hair, and hair color. Then I just gave him a scar and different tattoos. Really simple. Oh, and I turned off all the makeup but had to darken his "lipstick" because if I took it all off his lips were bubblegum pink with that greengold Abelas-skintone. ![]()
Yeah, they kind of all look like women.
I was thinking that too. With a minor change here n there, they are no different to many of the female elfs floating around here.

If you're looking for a he-man, I'm not sure male elf is the way to go. Just sayin', since elves have always been based on the "otherworldly eternal youth and beauty" idea...

Fenris' entire existence as a character nullifies that argument.
Fenris' entire existence as a character nullifies that argument.
Uhhhh... just one look at anime nullifies that argument.
But please, do continue your "male elves need to look more butch because one character in the DA universe does" argument.
I went for a more ethereal look for my male Lavellan
He's loosely based off of the Targaryen aesthetic (Fair, white-blonde hair, purple eyes)
