I love my elf quizzies, and Elros is no exception. I'm really pleased with his face and gave him a backstory of having some human blood to justify using the scruffy complexion.
Hi sorry to bother but do you have sliders for him by any chance...

its not to clear but it can be done, took me about 20 tries to get that

go with preset 4, you cant lose with that one, that's two done with different haristyles, always go to house that's on fire in the prologue, in the brightness that's how your character will look
Hey guys!! I have never created an elf before, so thought I would give it a go and I am pretty pleased with the results
Introducing Xander...

Preset 4 has flaws. The forehead is too prominent in relation to the hair, so almost all hairstyles will clip into the forehead, even if you retract it all the way back (which in turn is not a good option as it gives the character a jutting-brow, neanderthal kind of look). Preset 6 works better for this, but instead results in a very thin neck and generally frail/boyish-looking face.

I only use Preset 4 when I make male elves, and I never change out the forehead because any manipulation of the forehead in the CC tends to utterly ruin the effort for me, actually. I will say that the hairstyles just plain suck, though. But I think my guys are fairly good looking once all's said and done:

I did more experimeting preset 4 face shape 1 has more masculine features. The only problem i have is the mouth shape. They are either two big or too tiny and the jaw will play tricks on you. You will get someone decent. Keep trying. Its just the jaw or mouth thats the prob imo
Welp, thanks to the Abelas sliders that were released in another thread, I managed to make a modified version of Abelas for my own male elf. So in other words, I FINALLY made a male elf that doesn't make me want to gouge my eyes out every time I glance at his face.
I'm still not happy with the hair though. God I hate the hair.
Wow, there are some great creations in this thread. This is my current elf rogue Revias.
Considering how much time the dalish spend outside I went with a darker skin tone and some bright green/yellow eyes to make him look a bit fade touched.
The best looking male Elf I have seen so far, IMO. My personal favorite. His skin and tattoos looks like he was actually part of a forest tribe as opposed to a vampire. He looks masculine and means business. His eyes make him look mystical.
Well done.

Elves can have scruffy complexion. The Elven Inquisitor that we get to play is a Wood Elf essentially. He lived in a forest his whole life. No shaving blades and it makes sense for them to have some body hair. He is not supposed to look conventionally handsome in an Elven sense. He is supposed to look like a rough elf who lived a hard nomadic life. Your Lavellan captured this perfectly.
Only pampered fragile High Elves in have overly smooth complexion and look like vampires. ![]()

Have we ever seen in elf in DA with facial hair? I thought it was part of the lore that made them not have any facial/body hair.

the problem I have is that it takes 5 tries each time to get something decent, I always have to tweak either the jaw mouth or eyes

They can have stubble.

This is probably the happiest I've ever been with a male elf. I can make stunning female elves, but male elves...not so much. I hope he doesn't make anyone cringe too badly, lol!
I thought it was time I shared my adorable male elf...he has freckles!
Arin Lavellan:

Have started my male elf playthrough, which is actually going to be my canon, so here are a few more pictures of Morgan. Gah but I hate how the male elf body looks though. You really have to wear certain armors in order to avoid the waifish, broken arm look, which is just sad. Why can't our male elves have Solas's body frame, huh? Sadness.

Here is my elf. Rather happy with the result. I guess I could have went with a darker shade of blue, but oh... well, Black Emporium patch is coming soon.

I recommend giving them square jaws, makes them look less like wimps. Hairstyles are all terrible, it's either the mullet or the buzzcut. Also, make sure you don't use the 'clean' complexions, as they come out looking plasticky.
Hi, I'm japanese user and it glad to see many male elve Inquisitor.
I knew that reaction of characters are different for every race, but I can't stop playing with male elf...
( it's 4 times playing with elf inquisitor...
)

here's a few I created. All I can tell you is I always start with preset 3
Oh My! ![]()
I get the fenris feel on this one!
Well done, he is a looker for sure
