How is that I have this huge fortress at Skyhold but I have no armory or chest that I can leave items in? If I'm not worried about keeping my room tidy I could just drop them on the floor but nope, can't do that either. Please put a storage chest somewhere in Haven/Skyhold.

No persistent storage? Is that a joke? Games have had this feature for a couple of decades now.

Storage system, please!
Chest in my quarters even! Might give me a reason to visit there more often than just to admire new beds!

A master chest would be perfect. Let me share loot between characters. Why the heck not? It was an awesome feature in Diablo 3. Made me switch between classes and enjoy the full game so much more.
This feels like we're being pigeon holed into a single class and told to stay there. I want flexibility.

I've been wondering if there was storage space as I only just reached Skyhold and haven't fully explored the castle yet. Anyway, surprised there isn't a storage chest. Seems like a bit of an oversight.

Not only that, but the ability to display your collections.. Let me put this new, badass sword I just found on display! (don't use it since it's stats are subpar, but it looks awesome!)

I agree.
I have to sell or destroy loads of items. And sometimes did a mistake. But I can't get them back.
Like the Fereldan locks needed to fullfill an Inqusition Request. I sold every one of them. Why keep something I can't use?

Agreed!
I don't like having my inventory being my storage chest (that's the case as it is, if we want to keep items that we might want to use later... we have to leave them in our inventory taking up slots). We need a storage chest, preferably in our quarters (if not, maybe right next to the crafting tables to fasten things up not having to run back to the quarters to pick up items from the chest if we're in a crafting spree).

Yes OP, I am with you for that request. Skyhold is indeed a very large space that we need 'signs' or location signs for each area. Bioware, do give us storage space like we had in the previous two installments, please. Why deviate from something that is truly needed? The Crafting system makes this a necessity, for the raw materials we collect in the world take bags or inventory space,.

I agree having the storage space in our quarters, but making it accessible to us while we are crafting, so that we can have access to the raw materials.

Also, who had the brilliant idea of storing as 'valuables' items that I actually need for a quest or research? And then having those items waste inventory space and allowing me to sell and destroy them? If you have a 'move to valuables' button to mark anything as junk, and a 'sell all in this category' button at vendors, only vendor junk should go there!

Yes, what you describe and the lack of storage makes for a very frustrating experience.

Two words..Development costs.
The game launch date was extented twice. The first was a year and the second one was a month.

I really don't understand the need for your inventory to have a limit.

I'm a bit of a collectionist in game, and that always sadden me.

Giant castle with towers a billion rooms and windows you can change on a whim - Check.
Storage chest to put all of the gear I'm not strong enough to wear yet or just want to keep for storytelling reasons? - Hahahaha nope. This is the inquisition, we can't afford that shite!

This one thing seems to undermine every Bioware comment that they "intended" to provide choice and adaptability within Inquisition to make the game your own?

Lets all stop kidding ourselves... It was purely a move by Bioware to add incentive to buy a future DLC that includes a storage chest... Being in the business world myself, I understand, but man it doesn't leave a good feeling in my stomach for the future of gaming...

Sadly I have to agree with you; a storage chest will likely be available in a DLC that you will have to purchase.

At least the damned things dropped for you - I did not get a single one and I finished that map (I already had the requisition -.-)
greetings LAX
ps: Yeah, I would like a chest, too ![]()
