I wouldn't worry too much. The game is so mediocre possibly not even the pirates will want to waste 20+ gigs of HDD space installing this into their systems.

Mate, what? First of all.. I'll believe it when I see it. Second, what can Bioware do? Ask people nicely not to pirate? And thirdly... what do you have against Indians? Because the game is banned in their country because of the gay things in it. At least let them pirate it..

It's bull**** until a crack is released, and there is no crack for any game that uses Denuvo. Yes, I do know exactly where to look for that info.
Seems to me that the pirates are just trying to cause an upstir.

Second, what can Bioware do?
Well, they can definitely invest more thousands of dollars into developing yet another uncrackable DRM system, instead of channeling their efforts solely on the gameplay.
Read and learn.

Denuvo doesn't matter. Next game all the content will probably stream from the EA servers anyway.

I understand your outrage, but games are pirated all the time. If they really have cracked DA:I, there's nothing Bioware can do about it... Let's hope people want to support Bioware and decide to buy the game even if it does become available illegally.

I'll assume that's sarcasm. And fyi no need to preach to the choir.

Pirating is stealing...when Securom was release it took a year before they made a crack..and then Denuvo came and they only took around 4months.. tsktsktsk

and it really sucks when you Paid for Usd 89.90 for a game just to know your friend bought the same game for USD 10 dammnnn they can atleast use the full capacity of Origin so they wont just rely in DRM. Its like portion of my purchase fee goes for the costings for developing an "uncrackable" DRM which is actually crackable =.=

He's hardly being a stool pigeon. As usual, the group that cracked this advertised that they'd done it. It's an e-peen thing. Although dlux is right that we don't really know if there's anything to this yet

This thread won't stick around so I won't bother talking about DRM vs non-drm and all that denuvo does.

This. I value this in the same category as 'DA:I + Denuvo destroy your SSD' which people loved to post on here prior to the game's release, which was debunked mere hours after the game released.

Yeah, do something. Like patching out control software that's no longer effective so it's not just the legit customers who deal with it whilst pirating scum gets to play the game without any of that fuzz.
Crackers gonna crack. Nothing new, never been different and I can't think of a single DRM that wasn't eventually cracked, some of which were/are incredibly draconic to no one but the honest customers. Not saying Denuvo is like those, but by all accounts, as soon as working cracked copies of the game hit the torrent sites, developers/publishers should have it as standard to promptly remove any obstructive software since it no longer works anyway.

"This just in, hackers are attempting to pirate a popular video game. More on that as it develops. In other news, water is wet."
It makes me laugh because if anyone read that supposed "ex ubisoft employee" who wrote that open letter on reddit after unity?
He quoted the CEO of ubisoft as saying (in reply to one of the top programmers who asked why their PC ports were garbage) "Because nobody cares about PC gamers 90% of them are hackers and pirates" hahaha

Now that would be amazing. But it's never going to happen sadly.. except for CDP Red.

No, that is not a reason. That is a half-baked "justification" for criminals to steal things and say it is legit.

Would you purchase an expensive vehicle without going out for a test drive? Same thing goes for video games. I remember back in the old days where gaming companies actually provides demos for people to download, and try out prior to purchasing the full version. Whatever happen to that concept?
