It should be a common sense to state the actual topic of the discussion in the thread title.

 

A good way to do it is by incorporating parentheses in the thread title. For example, this thread's title could be "Why Do People... (About: Misleading and Ambiguous Thread Titles)" or "Why Do People... (Retarded Thread Titles Content)."

The only thing worse than thread titles that are half a sentence are the ones that begin with "Am I the only one...?"

The ones titled with half a sentence can be fun sometimes, do you remember the thread titled "My sister gave me head...?"
