Hey all, I would like to say this right off the bat: I enjoyed Dragon Age: Inquisition and I would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of Dragon Age. But this small rant/complaint thread will quite blunt and upfront. I will be pointing out the major issues that detracts from my experience:

- The game has WAY too many bugged quests. I have been running around in circles trying to do quests that are actually no longer valid, but somehow still in my quest journal.

- The game's mini map is absolutely abysmal. The map is almost completely useless and it serves more as a compass than an actual magic GPS. It really breaks the flow when you consistently have to open up the map (which stops movement) and really ruins the atmosphere.

- The game lacks any kind of drama. The battles lack proper ambiance, build up, and chaos. Not to mention how short these battles, and the missions based on it are.

Seriously, I know that BioWare can do this. They nailed it in Dragon Age: Origins, whether it is the battle for Ostagar or the showdown in Denerim. Both battles had an excellent build up and a great sense of urgency.

Not to mention that in Dragon Age: Inquisition, you rarely see more than 10 combatants fighting each other at the same time. Even in cutscenes, while Dragon Age: Origins you have scenes where literally (or feels like) hundreds of soldiers fight hordes of darkspawn.

- The AI also has some issues. It's a relatively minor issue compared to the rest, but it is worth mentioning. Ranged allies/partymembers/enemies have the tendency to consistently get within lunging distance of their foes, even when you order them to hold ground (or in the enemy's case, a superior position).

It's such a shame, I really think that the game would have been incredible if some of these issues were ironed out. I hope that BioWare keeps this in mind in their next project.
