This is where the gay agenda fits in too...

The reptilian overlords are implementing subliminal messages into these games to make people homosexual, thus, leading to population control and the eventual killing off of all civilization.

I have proof.

That was....creepy...

You all are either dense or are intentionally being obtuse.

The OP was simply remarking on the plethora of conspiracy-related iconography present in the game and writing--none of which can be denied. Whether or not these symbols are actually the work of clandestine organizations bent on a new world order are moot, as that's not the intention or spirit of the thread. The OP just wants to know if there are conspiracy buffs on the team since they seem to draw upon a lot of the material either directly or through other works.

How do you know that we're all not working for the illuminati?

That fact is that there are conspiracy buffs everywhere. Finding conspiracy is a fun pastime. There probably are a few conspiracy nuts in the team.

I would say that as a fantasy game with magic, it just makes sense that it draws from occult mythology. Especially for Tevinter. :P Interesting that the Grey Warden base, Weisshaupt, is similar to the name of the Illuminati founder Johan Adam Weishaupt. All in all there is a ton of religious and occult symbolism in this game, but that makes it interesting. I don't agree with the beliefs/outlook of such people, but that's another story.

Ah the "Illuminati" a "secret" organization that everyone knows of who are bent on world domination...we have dismissed that claim.

We have the entire history of the real Illuminati which was founded by Adam Weisshaupt, an organization that soon went defunct and existed centuries ago. Apart from music videos containing the eye symbolism (something these artists do simply to fuel further conspiracy theorists) there is little evidence of them still existing or controlling the world (and the original organization wasn't even formed to control but to lessen the state's control on their country).

There's no conspiracy stuff in the game OP. Bioware aren't interested in that nonsense. The all-seeing eye isn't just a symbol the Illuminati used and I didn't even think anything of it when I saw it in Inquisition.

...and the name of the Warden's main fortress is.....

Look, probably DA:I, ME, etc is full of Illuminati crap. I better save my breath from any effort of confirming/denying it and focus on the important part: I-don't-care.

Let them put all the signs they want; ultimately the decisions, morals and actions you take in your life are yours. In that aspect (manipulating people onto accomplishing the Illm's desires), CoD and Battlefield are way more Illuminati than wishing you could throw fireballs with your hands.

Gods bless sci-fi and fantasy for that :P

Uh...Bioware puts Illuminati symbolism in a lot of their games.  The devs all used to have the eye pyramid as their avatars on here.  I don't know if it means anything at all, but don't pretend like they don't do it.  I've asked the question myself.  Just out of curiosity.

Part of the reason that stuff sticks in the cultural consciousness is because the iconography is really neat. So Occam's Razor, they just like the way that stuff looks.

My question to all that nonsense had always been this; if there was really was a shadowy conspiracy controlling the world, why in the blazes would they waste time hiding their symbol all over the place?

Even if people think its far fetched, it is possible.  Many people find that subject matter interesting even if they don't buy into all of it.  Either way we don't know.

It's also "possible" that there's a tea cup orbiting Saturn right now, but that doesn't make the statement any less ridiculous and stupid.

Dude, just join the dots.  The Great Horned Owl is the provincial bird of Alberta.  Edmonton is in Alberta!  This conspiracy goes all the way to the top (of the provincial government of Alberta)!

Speaking of the Great Horned Owl, do you know what else has horns?

SATAN.

Edmonton is in Alberta, which is in Canada.

CANADA IS SATAN.

You just can not take seriously is that video. It was not an interview, it was a trap that David was the victim. David Icke has done his extensive research, traveling the world, meeting other researchers and learning from them. I think this man has great wisdom and put at the service of humanity devoting his life to it, therefore we must respect it. From my point of view, I think there is much truth in this whole affair. Returning to the game, it is clear that there is a purpose symbology making some sort of purpose, this masonic / illuminati symbolism is hiding behind "virtual legends" that refer to events that have happened in reality. The secret societies that are behind these symbols are satanic therefore there are many conspiracy around this issue.

For me the only conspiracy, I actually think could be possible would be the JFK assassination, and the ufo conspircy. Now that is out of the way anything is possible. It would not suprise me in least that's afew on the bioware's team would be familiar with these conspiracies, since these pop culture conspiracies that I have loathed somewhat.
