I love how everyone adores the reaver, arcane warrior, etc.

Then puts them on a pedestal, bashing the other classes. And more than half of you probably haven't even played as one in Origins or DA2.

First of all there was a time where you could be both a Reaver and a Templar, an Arcane Warrior and a Necromancer, etc. (Haven't gotten far enough in the story mode but hopefully you can still attempt this sort of thing at least.)

Either you guys haven't fought your way up to the desire demon that took over Redcliffe, the ancient phylactery in an elvin ruin, the temple of sacred ashes, and the battle of Denerim with only a "Legionnaire" and your wits; or you have just forgotten and don't appreciate what Dragon Age started from.

BACK IN MY DAY we killed ogres ten times tougher than anything in Inquisition multiplayer, with only Shield Bash, Arcane Bolt and Pinning Shot, and we LIKED IT!

Did you just bash people for not completing DAO or DA2 and then admit to not finishing DAI yet?

Back in my day we completed the story before we mess around with the multiplayer ;)

Oh and if the reaver had the old devour that healed you for each nearby dead enemy... That would be delicious.

Took way too long to unlock Reaver in Origins... hardly got to enjoy it. Always wound up using Berserker.

Sorry but I'm sick of hearing "lol assassin sux, legionnaire doesnt do enough DPS"

How could you keep track of time down there?

That's actually a REALLY good question LMAO... that should be in the lore... how crazy the biological clocks of dwarves are.

Fun fact:  If playing with my boy (the elementalist) in the group and the dwarf says that line...that is his response or something very close to it.

Nope, one spec only. This fact has actually been known for a really long time, but I can understand your not knowing about it if you avoided game news so as not to be spoiled.

Isn't Reaver considered borderline unplayable right now on higher difficulties with bugged Rampage? Elementalist seems to be the darling of choice.

Errrr I mean...back in my day, Primal spells were the solid anchor we could cling to in the treacherous sea of friendly fire and unclear tool tips!

What? No. Rampage bugs out only if you die when it's on CD or active.

Don't die.

Don't die.

It primarily bugs when you die. It by no means bugs exclusively when you die. It's entirely possible to never go down and still bug out because of...who knows what. People here've been trying to guess the trigger for some time and no rhyme or reason has emerged. It's also happened to most everyone I regularly play with and soured us on the class a great deal. Sure, it's pretty rare for it to bug out like that but when it does...

As for the don't die thing, you don't find playing essentially with permadeath a bit crippling? Especially on, again, the higher difficulties?

I play reaver a lot lately, but I only met this bug once or twice - maybe I'm just lucky maybe it's about latency (I host or my friend in the same city hosts 100% of the time). Every time I had it it was when I died when it was either active or in CD. But if it appears regardless that's a bit disheartening.

No, I personally would like DiD - you go down, they don't rez you during bleed out, you are dead for the rest of the match. If they rez you you die for good next time. When we start falling it's usually a wipe anyway, having 2 more shots is not a big difference honestly. But I'm not a masochist, so not until the lag issues are fixed, I see lots of guys going down in 0,00001s nowadays.
