Yes, it's a shame that there is a need of modders to give us decent hair. I mean earlier it has been that people wanted the really long hairstyles or the unnatural colours or changing the hairstyles on companions.

But this time around? The hairstyles are just terrible and everyone seem to think so and still nothing from Bioware.

If they are working on it why not letting us know? Just say something (I feel like a broken record)

I don't think that all hairstyles are terrible but you have so many with really short/shaved hair and not everyone wants that. Even if I play a male inquisitor I sometimes like my character with longer hair. And for Qunari there really should have been one with a streak of hair in the face, just like the qunari mods and like Rasaan in the Dragon Age comics.

I really hope they are working on some new hairstyles but I wouldn't count on it. I may be wrong but it seems to me not much effort for quite a profit - the additional hair doesn't has to be free.

It is the same with the pyjamas; even before the game was out people complained about it and still we have no alternative without mods or cheat engine. At least a toggle to switch between pyjama and normal armor would be helpful. Or some recolored pyjamas or the ability to craft own pyjamas .... it really can't be so much effort and people would love to have this.

But honestly, I am pretty sure we will have the same discussion with Dragon Age 4 and 5....

And I don't know if it is really limited by the engine but compared to the super realistic face texture the hair just looks like plastic... but this is another story.

There are som hairstyles that I like, like the bun my Cadash has on my picture. But there's like 3 hairstyles I like (and even then I hate the sideburns) and like 2 more I can sort of tolerate to the right face. I did so not love all the hairstyles in Origins or DAII, but at least there was som diversity. Here...no, there's hardly any.

Yeah, that's what I fear too. They just seem to have stopped listening to their fans since Origins on many levels for reasons I do not know.
I'll say it again, Dragon Age is my favorite franchise. I bought the action figures,  I have several litographs, I have both collectors editions of The World of Thedas and I bought the Inquisitors Edition of DAI. So I love the games.

But enough is honestly enough.

As for the pyjamas, if we at least could tint it...That would be a compromise.

It's incredible how Little bio is even considering these two complains. The only sort of answers have to be taken on twitter. The feeling is that the deve have totally stop to visit the forum. And surely don't care. Or after half a year something would have been made.

Oh and Felya87, I really like your Qunari. She looks a bit frightening, and yet very beautiful :) She has a softness I really like. And a great colour scheme.

Thanks!  :) I love my Zula, I still play her sometime, I may do a completionist run with her because I have too fun.

By the way...she is quite frightening sometime...

The DA2 hairstyles were not very good, I agree, but at least there was some variety. That's the problem here. At least that's what I think.

That and the sideburns, they kind of ruin it. I wish the sideburns were in the facial hair section instead.

I disagree. DA2 hair wheren't exeptional, but were good enought. At least mostly were coerent with the setting. DAI hair seem to need a lot of gel. and an electric razor. Not really fantasy-feeling. Better For a cyberpunk style.

With that I agree, they work much better in a fantasy enviroment, they just weren't aesthetically pleasing to me. But most importantly, they gave us range in appearence.

Yeah, the hairs are pretty ugly, in fact, if you see youtube videos, pretty much everyone uses the same 2-3 haircuts. Also the hair models are graphicly speaking, very bad, they do not match the realistic facial expressions of the characters. I want hairs with physics like in other next gen games, and please add some long hair models for female!

Bioware should really take a look at korean MMORPG to learn a bit about haircuts and hair physics, lol.

Totally, there so much that could have been done about the hairstyles for both male and female, it´s like " Oh we forgot about the hairstyles let just add some and hope for the best" kind of feeling when you see there bad hairstyles. I hope modders or bioware themself will find something better to our taste.
